My name is Anna and I’ve been a midwife for 14 years, working with mums-to-be having both high and low risk births.
Having developed an interest in natural ways to help expectant mums through pregnancy and birth, I completed a Diploma in Midwifery Complementary Therapies with Expectancy and now offer a bespoke maternity complementary therapies service in Hertfordshire.
I passionately believe that you should have the opportunity to explore all the available options to enable you to make informed choices about your pregnancy and the birth of your baby.
I’m excited to be able to offer a variety of complementary therapies for relaxation or for the treatment of specific problems, either in the comfort of your own home or in my treatment room in Stanstead Abbotts.
I also offer specialised treatments if you are overdue and want to avoid labour induction, or if your baby is breech. I am fully insured through the Federation of Antenatal Educators and have a current DBS certificate (police check).

For all pregnant ladies struggling at the moment. Some helpful tips, although please check you are safe to use aromatherapy oils, they are not suitable for all! I am completely loving this weather and have been doing lots of lovely treatments in gardens recently, how lucky am I?! 😎☀️❤️

Today was another busy day on the labour ward. I was privileged enough to see 2 baby boys and 1 baby girl into the world. Happy birthday to them and happy birthday to our NHS 💙 a touching post from my colleague Allison 💞

I was told at 28 weeks that my 3rd baby was breech, on my 36 week appointment she was still breech. The lovely Rebecca Rees from 6 Week Social gave me Anna's details from Bump Birth Begin Anna came to my house and talked me through all my options which was really good to know and talked me through a treatment called moxibustion which I did for 5 days before my breech scan. Today I went for my scan and my little bubba has turned around and is now in engaged! I cannot thank you both enough :-). Had an AMAZING reflexology and relax session with Anna last night! I was very nearly asleep at the end of the treatment. Her knowledge on pregnancy is broad and very helpful so as well as coming out walking on air and utterly tranquillised, she made me feel at ease, answered many of my niggling questions and provided very helpful advice.

Had a breech baby at 34 weeks pregnant and saw Anna within a couple of days. She was very informative and showed us the moxibustion technique to use over the next week. We only needed one session though as the baby turned that night and would thoroughly recommend her to other pregnant women who find their baby breeched like us!
