Bunglebum

A new brand supporting environmentally friendly accessories and one of a kind hand-made items.

The idea of Bunglebum is to promote handmade items, sustainable items, and things that are truly unique.

We began with just Cork items but have already began to stock handmade bags, Knitted by Nana hats and scarves, 100% British Alpaca wool and boot insoles. We hope to soon have original prints and artwork too.

All the Jewellery is made from Cork which makes it sustainable and lightweight. The cork-oak trees are not cut down to make this Jewellery, just the bark is taken off - like sheering an Alpaca! This happens once the tree reaches 25 years old, then the bark grows in 9 year cycles.

It is not just for stopping up wine bottles either, cork has been used for insulation, boat parts, car seats and even space travel.
