We ordered 6 lunches today and collected. All ready in time and everyone enjoyed their choice of food. I had a delicious chicken burger- thank you! We'll definitely be back again soon :)

Took my friends here bragging its the best fish&chips they will ever experience.... and they agree, the food was amazing and the staff were really happy and friendly love this place will never go anywhere else for fish&chips �

So pleased to have this plaice(!!) near us, tried tonight for first time - beautiful bit of fish and very large portions. Shop/restaurant looks great too, will be back for kids to try ice cream and sweeties �

Regular users, always great food and our son loves the slushy machines.

Just had gluten free fish, chips and curry sauce!!!! It was amazing, the batter was so light and crispy. Even the vinegar was gluten free too. Would totally recommend, was really yummy :)

I stopped here today for some lunch with my family, and we thought the food was brilliant. Would highly recommend.

We Look forward to our next visit.

Great food. Great prices. Not really a lover of chip shop to be honest but this place is definitely the best I've tasted, will most definitely be going back �

Buoys catered for 25 ladies and gents at the old common gardens retirement flats last Friday and they unanimously thought it was the best fish and chips they'd had in a long time! Light, crispy batter, good quality fish and perfect portion size so very little waste. Thank you buoys place. Xx

Amazing food can't fault been there many times now.

Had some nice take out meals there, but last visit wasn’t what we expected. Telephone ordered, but when we arrived items were put on to cook and we had to queue with the others. Made for a very slow food order.

We like the food, so will order from time to time as a treat, but certainly not as often.

Appreciate it gets busy, but don’t take a telephone order for it to be treated like normal. Also try and deal with telephone orders separately when visiting. It was an odd evening with a bad atmosphere from other customers jostling for queue priority. We got very close to just not bothering and heading to Waitrose/Sainsbury’s.



All about timing and all places have their ups and downs. Last Chinese takeaway turned up cold..

Didn’t get the fish I ordered! Only realised once I was home and opened the bag but didn’t want to travel back to get it. Luckily there were plenty of chips so we didn’t go hungry.

Lots of people either waiting for telephoned orders or waiting to be served. Hardly any cooked food on display so we went somewhere else.

Sorry but very disappointing tonight Buoys, soggy and unappetising. Would not have eaten it if we hadn't been so hungry.

Service was terrible and the staff were very unhelpful
