Dear customers
Due to a continuation of poor health and other personal circumstances, I have come to the very difficult decision to temporarily close BurcombeŌĆÖs Poultry until the foreseeable future.
Therefore over the next few weekends we will be selling all of our fantastic breeding groups. We want to give people the chance to buy the breeding groups (or the choice of Cockerels with some of the hens), before we split up any remaining groups and sell them separately in a fe...w weeks time. All will be sold on a first come first served basis, so please message us if you are interested in any of our breeding groups, which are all listed with prices below. We do apologise in advance for our delayed replies. We currently have a backlog of a few hundred customer messages, so I am spending today and tomorrow getting back to people in order. As mentioned before, all will be sold on a first come first served basis. Due to my current state, photograph requests are likely to be a challenge. Please note we do also have our usual stock available (which are not breeding groups) such as bantam hens, hybrid hens, ducks, etc.

With great embarrassment, I am sending my greatest apologies to lots of you lovely people who have not had a reply/been able to get hold of me, for up to the last week. Unfortunately I have fallen unexpectedly ill, causing many complications for myself and BurcombeŌĆÖs Poultry. I am trying my hardest to get back on top of things and get everything back to normal, which obviously includes getting back to everyone as soon as I can, but all is currently slow progre...ss unfortunately. Thank you to the many of you who have demonstrated the most amazing patience over the last few weeks. All your continued support for BurcombeŌĆÖs Poultry is still very much appreciated. WeŌĆÖve kept this one quieter for a few weeks, but ItŌĆÖs about time we introduce some of our new additions to the farm! ­¤śŹ­¤Ź╝­¤É▒ These little guys are absolutely adorable and have been having great fun jumping and playing around the shed which they were born in a few weeks ago.
They can all also be seen and maybe even handled at certain times, over our open weekend this weekend!­¤ÖŖ

Mother duck seems so proud of her new additions to the farm, parading around, showing off to everyone!­¤śŹ­¤ÉŻ­¤śä

We now have lots of point of lay quail available once again! We have three different colour varieties which include the Italian, the English white, and the Japanese. All females are ┬Ż6.50 each and breeding males ┬Ż4 each. Posh eggs anyone? ­¤źÜ­¤Éź­¤śü

Two of our Male Rheas, Richard and Wonky seem quite wary over this ŌĆśweirdŌĆÖ object that one of the females have dumped with them!­¤śé­¤Öł Is it really that time of year already? ­¤ÉŻ

We now have an amazing new batch of point of lay hybrid pullets now available. All are 20 weeks old, wormed and vaccinated. 7 varieties available to include Bluebells, Black rock stars, Speckeldies, White stars (white eggs), Columbian black-tails, and Light Sussex stars, all of which are ┬Ż15 each. Went to the open day. Really impressed with the setup, amazed at how many breeds they have. We walked away with 2 Barnvelders and 2 Bluebells, all have settled in well with our last remaining ex battery hen, and she hasn't shut up since company arrived!

We brought 5 hens from Jamie, 4 weeks ago & in the last week 4 out of the 5 have started to lay.

The hens themselves were lovely & healthy when we picked them up & Jamie was very helpful & knowledgable.

We will be going back to gets some more from him ’┐Į

We brought 3 beautiful hens from Jamie 2 weeks ago. They have settled in so well. Jamie told my sons to promise him they would cuddle the chickens every day. When the boys are around they donŌĆÖt get a minutes peace and plenty of cuddles! They are super friendly and super tolerant. We love them. We can not recommend BurcombeŌĆÖs Poultry highly enough ’┐Į

Lovely birds, Jamie is really helpful. I picked up a few pullets in the spring and they have come on beautifully. Definitely my go-to from now on.

Jamie has been extremely helpful with helping me find some rare breed bantams. I am awkwardly fussy but he has done me proud! I have messaged various questions over the past few months all of which he has been more than happy to help me with. We are not local and travelled to collect our birds over the weekend and they are the most healthy, happy and calm birds I have found yet. Can't recommend him enough. He is very knowledgeable and hard working. We will definitely be visiting again! 5***** from us!

I would like to say how helpful Jamie was from the first message on Facebook to leaving the farm. I asked if one of the breeds needed more care then the others, he advised me of the possibility of a problem due to weather not the breed. He has great plans for the future and also takes on board customer input. Would recommend Jamie and will definitely be going back.

I collected 6 lovely little bantams yesterday, theyŌĆÖve settled in perfectly and we had 2 eggs within an hour of them arriving! Such a lovely selection of birds. And they all look well cared for and in excellent condition. I am sure I will be back to buy some more birds in the near future. Thank you Jamie ’┐Į

Had 12 eggs sent through the post, really happy with the service and I hatched 9 out of 12 healthy chicks.

Fantastic, Jamie was brilliant with the advise on all the chickens and with our kids!!!! We all left very happy and even arrived home to our first egg....
