Burgess & Harper Funeral Directors

My Aunt had prearranged her funeral with Burgess and Harper. On our two visits and other phone calls to arrange matters the service we received was excellent: friendly and professional. Things were organised quickly and to an excellent standard. The funeral itself was as my Aunt wanted, and carried out with care and compassion.

When my dad died as well as the heartache and grief I felt I had an overwhelming sense of stress and worry as there was so much to do arrange the funeral.
I had heard from other people that burgess and harper were really good.However after choosing them to handle my dad's funeral is cannot recommend them enough.
From the word go they were fantastic,they were patient,professional,and very sensitive. We arranged a home visit and Andy came round and went through all the arrangements with us and noted down everything we wanted he was so helpful. After he left i felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I felt confident that my dad was going to get the best send off he deserved.
Helen was a godsend through the whole process she organised the poems,readings,songs and the dreaded order of service and took so much care to make sure those special and personal touches were added. I really can't thank her enough.
I was so nervous the day before the funeral to visit my dad is knew I had to see him one last time but I wanted to remember him in a positive way and keep that picture in my head of the way he was before his illness. I was so surprised how beautiful he looked just like my dad,they made him perfect and so smart and as heartbroken as I was in was so grateful for that.
Since the funeral we have received a beautiful box with my dad's ashes and a gorgeous picture in a frame of my mom and dad at there wedding which is beautiful.
I am so happy and relieved I chose Burgess and harper to arrange my dad's final journey because they made the whole day perfect.
I know my dad would have been so proud of the send off we gave him and I'll always have that to remember until I see him again
