Burnbake nestles in beautiful, secluded woodland between Corfe Castle and Studland Beach on the stunning Isle of Purbeck. For the past 40 years, we have operated a friendly, relaxing, family campsite with a 'Swallows and Amazons' atmosphere, perfect for walking and cycling with numerous trails on our doorstep and 12 acres of our great outdoors to enjoy. Two years ago we added 22 architect-designed luxury lodges, fully fitted out for the very best in self catering. Each lodge features a wood burning stove, hot tub spa and all modern appliances. The lodges are open all year round, the campsite is seasonal. We invested £4m into Burnbake with the new lodges and believe we offer something unique to Dorset's tourism and leisure sector. To promote ourselves we have a very active and busy social media presence, recently launched a brand new, content-rich website and through our PR company, Creative Studios (like us, a family business), we promote Burnbake through news releases, professionally produced seasonal videos to the music of Vivaldi and competitions with the local media, including the Bournemouth Echo. We have enlisted Hoseasons as an additional booking agent and through our partnerships with numerous local businesses, suppliers and organisations and by offering complimentary holidays to schools and charities such as the RNLI, and Motor Neurone Disease Association, we spread the word far and wide. We also support, through sponsorship, community events such as the hugely popular Purbeck Film Festival. Burnbake Forest Lodges earned a Visit England Gold Award for exceptional quality, comfort and cleanliness in 2016. In addition, we have many testimonials directly from our guests, through Trip Advisor, social media and National Press.
