The first training session for the new Burnley Tornados u19s team will take place on Saturday 20th October.
Training will be at Nelson and Colne Rugby Club, Holt House, Harrison Drive, BB8 9SF on Saturdays 1000-1300.
... All players of all sizes are welcome. Ages for our u19s is between 16-19 as of next year. Too old or too young? Don’t worry, our u17s and adult teams are recruiting too!
We provide all the kit. All you need is boots and a gum shield. So it’s easy to get involved!!

The Burnley Tornados are proud to announce that for the 2019 season we will be having a new Under 19s Team!!!
Right now we have an u12s flag team, an u17s kitted team, and an adult kitted team. By creating our u19s team we’ll ensure that people can play for the Tornados throughout their entire footballing career. U19s will cover the age range of 16-19.
... The new u19s team is headed up by two of our founder coaches who between them have over 50 years of football experience!!
Our u19s will train at the same time and place as our u17s;
Saturdays 0930-1230 Nelson and Colne Rugby Club Harrison Drive BB8 9SF
The Tornados are proud to provide ALL the kit required. All you need is boots as a gum shield and we’ll make sure to supply the rest!

Thank you to the Crewe Railroaders for bringing their u17s team today for joint training and a scrimmage. Final score of the scrimmage was a very fair 12-12. Some great performances today.

Yesterday saw the last tournament of the season for our u12s flag and u17s kitted teams.
Our u12s had only their second year in the league and surpassed the benchmark set last season. Notably they received a lot of praise for attending one tournament with only 5 players who never left the field.
For our u17s they could easily have won 5 or 6 more games if just a couple of plays went differently. Nonetheless we are incredibly proud of the effort that they have put in. As a yo...ung team, the will no doubt develop and come back next season even stronger.
As an organisation we want to thank the coaches, players and parents for their work this year. We’ll certainly be playing friendlies in the months to come to keep developing.

Tonnes of credit to our under 17s today. Results didn’t go the way we wanted but they all played their hearts out. We had the smallest squad there with only 10 players but we played like we had dozens.
And importantly, it’s coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our under 17s youth kitted team travel to Manchester tomorrow to take on the two Manchester Titans American Football Club teams and the Chorley Buccaneers.

This Saturday sees our under 12s flag team take on Manchester Titans American Football Club and the two teams from Chorley Buccaneers in Manchester.
