Went with friends for early evening menu - great value with glass of wine and food beautiful. Mackerel pate to start followed by the most gorgeous Asparagus and pea risotto!.. no complaints, will certainly revisit .. chunky chips with truffle and Parmesan delightful!..

Well we decided to go out at the last minute so obviously hadnt booked anything. We had tried a couple of other places in Heswall but no tables. We looked at the menu for Burnt Truffle and at first glance thought "not much to choose from" went to walk away to try somewhere else and then decided to go in. SO pleased we did. Lovely welcome. Had a table for the four of us...happy. Service was great but the food was incredible. We had a fun night and perfect food. Defo worth a night there.

We were a party of eight celebration a special birthday. The staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble. The food as usual was amazing. We will be back again.

We were there for my wife's birthday. We loved it! The staff so helpful and attentive, and as for the food fantastic. We both had the pickled herring for starters and my wife loved the mackerel and I enjoyed the sea bream with a excellent Spanish wine to accompany the meal , what could be better!!!

We visited with friends from Scotland. The food was incredible, atmosphere was lovely and staff were amazing. I would highly recommend Burnt Truffle and cannot wait to visit again!

Really enjoyed our lunch today the roast beef and accompanying vegetables etc were spot on.

Loved the home cured salmon and can’t put into words the taste of the Jasmin ice cream with tea soaked raisins and nutmeg.

Was there yesterday for lunch, the 3 of us turned up without a booking. We were seated right in the middle of the downstairs on a busy afternoon (nice to see) the service was good and attentive without being over the top.



The food was presented well without being fussy, and tasted really fresh.



I had the love lane ipa to accompany my main course of stuffed belly pork.



This is the second time of visiting, the first being not long after it had opened after reading Jay Rayners review.



The standard has stayed the same if not improved.



Can't wait to go back.

Visiting yesterday for the first time, this was long overdue. The atmosphere was very relaxed, with welcoming and attentive staff. They had a great wine menu and the food lived up to my expectations. 👌🏽Looking forward to going again. 😊🍽🍷

Visited on Saturday for dinner, with my son and his partner, food was lovely I had steak tartare to start then the lobster, the deserts were to die for, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, definitely go again.

The food is exceptionally well prepared and menu very interesting. Service is great too. Absolutely love it here.

So close to us and we'd said that we must go... so eventually last Friday we went there for lunch! Wowser... fab lunch, fab waiting staff, fab decor... just fab. I must have birthdays more often! :D

Luckily for me this is my local. Beautiful food, and great complimentary wines. Much thought has gone into the details of their dishes, which means they take a lot of time to put together-for those philistines that don't comprehend anything other than Witherspoon's microwave meals, they might be bigger but they're also shit! Really looking forward to going again soon, and trying out the new menu. The £18 deal is fantastic, and means we can go more often. Keep up the good work and don't let the tossers throw you off course.

I have never seen a review quite like it, his arrogance spills onto the screen like Sulphuric Acid, clearly this Level 6 'Expert' is a vile person who thinks he's better than everyone else.



Your response is more than perfect, you put him in his place without being nasty, you were straight to the point.

I visited with my family for the Edge & Sons promo night. The food and service was faultless. I've heard a lot of good things about Burnt Truffle and I wasn't disappointed. The steak tartare and chateaubriand was out of this world. I will definitely be returning very soon to sample more of their amazing food.

I enjoyed a delicious starter of smoked mackerel on sour dough toasted bread and Roast Beef dinner beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I will be back!

Had a brilliant meal there on Saturday. A great menu and friendly service. Definitely recommend as a place to try out. Top wines too!

Had a Lovely meal last night. We went at 6.30 and ordered from the early doors menu. For a wed night, the restaurant was quite busy and had a great atmosphere. Had three courses, over a good couple of hours chatting with girls. Great value for money, delicious food and good service! We will be back.

Good food and relaxed ambience . We had the ' early doors' limited set menu and our party of six enjoyed the well balanced three courses . We supplemented with side dishes which enhanced the main dishes - especially the Parmesan chips! Wine is good value . Highly recommend ....

From the moment we entered, we were made to feel special. Such a treat, fabulously scrumptious food, splendid surroundings, Handsome man waited on us perfectly.. get yourself there for a reasonably priced (£14) 2 course treat.

Family celebration at lunch time. Relaxed atmosphere, varied menu and well cooked and presented food. Gin selection was good and my favourite Wirral gin was served with fevertree tonic, just how I like it. The desserts were great and I ate a very smooth crunchy topped creme brulé. Highly recommended this resturant.

Could not fault this place if I tried. The service is first class and the food is beyond wonderful. Try it you won't regret it.

Been to Sticky Walnut several times and been very impressed. Figured we would try Burnt Truffle out for Sunday lunch. It was faultless from start to finish. Probably one of the best Sunday lunches I've had out, very tasty gravy. Will definitely be back to try the al a carte menu!

As usual friendly accommodating staff served us nothing less than excellent food. I had the Burrata to start (delicate creamy and divine) a main course of blue cheese Arancini (crisp light heavenly) with a dessert of fresh doughnuts served with a lemon cream with thyme and honey (delicious). It isn’t exactly cheap but it is very good value. I have yet to have a meal here that is less than excellent. Oh, nearly forgot.... the truffle and Parmesan chips (worth the visit on their own).

Amazing service and food. Loved every second and every mouthful of the wine night last night. FOH were the best and the kitchen were so accommodating to different dietary requirements, even swapping a dessert that contained gelatine for one without for me in my pescatarian diet. I would recommend Burnt and her sister restaurants unreservedly.

Had dinner with friends Saturday evening and we really enjoyed the evening the wine was really good and the Chateaubriand was delicious with asparagus and peas which were perfectly cooked. The Truffle Parmesan chips were a little too soggy for my liking. I would also say that the starters lacked appeal I couldn't choose any of them nothing light and we chose a main course to share instead. Would go again if starters changed. We had a honeycomb. With chocolate mousse which was divine. Staff were friendly and very professional.

Having been previously and very impressed with the food we thought we would try the Sunday Lunch. We both had roast beef and it was disappointing. All other elements were very nice however the beef was wafer thin and meagre.
