Needed body repair after accident. The body shop was given 5 weeks notice that a requirement of mine was a manual geared courtesy car. The night before at 4.30 I was telephoned and informed that they were having a problem getting a manual car! They had had 5 (yes 5) weeks! I insisted, stampted my feet and got a manual car.
It was the 13th Dec. I was given 'about 1 week' for repair. 7 days later I rang for an update to be told that it was still requiring work. This I tolerated. Season of good will and all that. I rang for an update a few days later to be told that it was now possibly the 28th of Dec before it could be signed off! NO. I paddied and stampted my feet. I fired off a stinky email. An hour later I was told that it could be ready for 3.30 that evening (22nd!) Work that one out. This was inconvenient and asked them to deliver it on the 27th. The 27th came. I expected a prompt delivery as it had been ready since the 22nd. I expected it to be signed off and valeted. Guess what. It wasn't.
I had to ring a further 3 times to be told at 2pm that it would be ready in 10 mins. Doncaster must work on different time from the rest of us as 10 mins turned into 1 hour. Appalling service. I will be informing my insurance company not to use this service at all.

Rang up to get battery tested to ensure that I needed a new battery. Left on hold earliest to check a gel battery is 22nd March. Seriously 22 days just to get a battery check. Simple check but can't check on standard battery charger. I don't think I will be recommending these anytime soon.
