Went today 5 adults (1 spectating) and 4 kids. We all had a fantastic time and everything is such great value for money. We will definitely be back as it’s much better than the rink that is nearby.

Thank you all for some great family time.

User

The whole team are great. Went with 10 girls for my daughter's birthday. Even though it was peak time on a Saturday 2.30pm. Cath kindly reserved a few tables for us. We just booked the £8 meal deal which was great. Even took our own cake. Cannot find fault with this place

Girls loved the skating. There was always at least two members of staff on the rink to help out those who needed it. Brilliant. Even us adults skated like pros (well we stayed on our feet). Thank you so much. Will defo be back soon. Thank you. Xxxx

User

The staff really make this place amazing, myself and my children have always had a a fabulous time, took my daughter and 9friends roller skating today for her birthday, all of the staff couldn't do enough to make sure she had a perfect day, a huge shout-out and thank you to Chris who put my daughter's light up wheels on her new roller skates for us (my daughter was so grateful), Rachel who I spoke to initially who sorted everything out, Matthew who constantly helped and made sure my daughter and myself were having a good time and thank you to Aled too. We will absolutely be back again to skate.

User

Lucy had her 10th birthday yesterday. We were allowed to book the £8 meal and skate for 15 children rather than pushed into the £12 a child party with an hours skate. They reserved us a table so everyone could eat together, allowed us to do her birthday cake (been alot of other places that won't allow you to bring and serve a birthday cake if not booked as a party.) The staff went above and beyond what we expected even though it was a busy Saturday there. Big thanks to everyone especially Cath.T who helped make it such a great party, we were there over 3 hours in the end! Fab time had by all xx

User

I went with my granddaughter, I think I had as much fun as she did, we both can’t wait to come back !!! Staff are lovely and very helpful, I would recommend it a 100% ... I think they should have an 80s night for just over 40s my friends would love it, take us all back to our youth

User

Fab night at the 70s/80s disco- shame the music wasn't 'disco-ey' enough for me but presumably cos the dj wasn't born and didn't hit us with many of the crowd pleasers -was more power ballads/rock stuff - but can't cater for everyone I guess. This didn't take away how fab the night was when they DID play the obvious stuff. Thanks to all the fab staff and hope it gets busier next time cos it WAS a brilliant night. Thank you xx

User

Couldn’t fault the place. Took my daughter and 7 friends for belated birthday treat (snow caused us problems getting there on her actual day) Staff very friendly and helpful. All girls had a great time. Even opened the kitchen back up when they ‘forgot’ to put their food orders in because too busy skating.

Skating rink a good size and cost is very good for skating, skate hire and food/drink.

Would I book for them again? Most definitely. May even have a go with the whole family.

User

Been a couple of times with grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very friendly and helpful. My 7 year old grandson had his party there yesterday and it was great. The food was good and there was plenty. Drinks available throughout the party too. Very attentive staff. Will be going often!!

User

As a group of two adults and four children looking for something different to do in the Easter Holidays..it was perfect.Me and my friend loved the chilled out atmosphere and the fact that it wasn't too busy giving us the chance to skate round with our children.A member of the staff initially helped my son,who could barely stand up giving him the confidence he needed to carry on..completing starjumps by the end.!!!....excellent customer service,we will definately go back again!!!⛸⛸⛸⛸⛸

User

Affordable, friendly and overall nice place to spend time with family. Staff are friendly and helpful. My and my family will be coming back there for sure :) Kids love it there. Highly recommended to everyone.

User

Absoluteley love this place please ignore any negative reviews.. some people have no lives ..its a great place!! we go in the week after school or random Friday evening its qiueter them staff are very friendly & helpful. Great Value for money

User

The staff are very friendly and it's a good place to go whether you have kids or if you just want to zone out and skate on your own I give it a thumbs up

User

Always very goid value for money..Everything is accesable on skates including toilets.(unlike other venues locally).

My only issue is some staff look as though they dont want be there..

Skating is about having fun .. smiling happy faces..

Also it seems as though the lockers could do with maintenance as some didnt work. But still enjoyed the session.

Maybe a bit of interaction vocally on the mic would help create a wonderful atmosphere.

User

The RollerRink overall is really good value for money and I took my daughter here for a birthday party with 5 of her friends. They really enjoyed it .

I had to stay with them as there was no locker available to lock their coats and phones securely. For a big place like this there should be enough lockers for everyone

Most of the staff were lovely and very helpfull apart from one lad who was very obnoxiuos and argumentative. I bought a couple of cappachinos and I totally understand they are just from a machine but I literally had a quarter of the cup full the rest was froth and it was cold. When I went to take them back and ask for a hot coffee the guy argued with me and didn't believe me when I told them they was cold. A lady had to come out and felt my cup and agreed the drink was cold. I wasn't trying to be funny or awkward I just wanted a hot drink. He did change my drink then gave me a chipped cup and practically threw the drinks at me. It's a shame that the majority of staff were lovely but one obnoxious member of staff can spoil it

User

It was extremely busy (school hols) but the kids had a good time regardless. The downside was that there was one in the kitchen & one on the till/serving drinks. Far too much work for just those 2. (took my order & forgot to give me my drink) especially when there was 2 on skate hire but no1 there getting skates!

Our food was fairly quick at the time but as time went on there was an hours wait (even for a portion of fries!)

On that note...I have brought my daughter & her 4 friends for her birthday & everything was fab.

I would recommend Bury Roller Rink.

User

Good prices except for the fact that spectators have to pay £2 each. The skates I was handed were food and drink stained which is very unhygienic; should be checked and cleaned on return every time! Food and drink remains left without being cleaned away. Enjoyed the actual skating. Overall good; would go back again 👍

User

Upon entering to pay you cant hear staff due to the music being too loud.. when on rink there either is none or is too low. Staff who ever they were are unsocial .. still no clear marshalls.. or rules for use of rink.. disclaimers are not rules.. when a memeber of staff did got on the rink after an hour of being in they only went round once. Hard to distinguish who are staff.. rink floor was wet people walking on with shoes ..people using mobiles why on rink . And going in wrong directions.. really needs to be addressed as very poorly run.. toilets were a mess.. tables left uncleared for length of time.. no improovements from last visit.. very dissapointed.. they need to get pointers from wigan rink

User

Over all the roller rink is fab and value for money. But today one of the kids I took handed their coat to be put with their shoes as no lockers available, when she went to get something out of her coat she was told she hadn’t handed it in, cctv was checked the staff looked in the back and nothing found. After over an hour of looking about it was suddenly handed in and the member of staff made no apology just said it had been on the premises. Apparently had been put in the wrong box?? Maybe a genuine we are really sorry there has been a mistake and your coat has been placed in the wrong place, but no just handed the coat and told it had been handed in and had been on the premises... when I questioned this a member of said was shrugged off with well you’ve got it back now?? Maybe some staff training or more lockers should be provided? Spoilt my daughter and friends birthday treat.

User

Unprofessional first aid! unfortunately my girlfriend broke her leg during rolling and the staff was more interested to take her out of the ring then help her , we asks the ''first aid '' to call the ambulance because she couldn't feel the leg and the ''first aid'' said that in her opinion is not broken and we have to go home and put ice. At the end we took a taxi and go to the hospital and after x-ray find out that the leg is broken.
