Bushcraft Knives

Hi all, crazy crazy times at the minute for everyone all around the world, but in bushcraft or survival situations it’s all about what you can do, rather than what you can’t. Maybe these next 12 months might teach us all a lesson about being susceptible and not as big and clever as we might think!! Use this time wisely, maybe read books,or even write them? Learn a language? Art, crafts, learn how to make a knife even?!! Start to think now about what you might want/ need when/if we go into full lockdown, I don’t mean panic?!! Just maybe go and get some supplies ie books, paints , brushes, wool whatever it is that you fancy doing. There’s an old saying , prepare for the worst, hope for the best👍🤛🇬🇧

Just come across one of my first blades hiding in a cupboard!! Made from one of the finest steels available in the world, Japanese multi layer suminagashi with 22 layers and an inner core of white paper steel. It’s 5.5mm thick and I’m pretty sure it would survive a nuclear blast!! Anyway here’s a couple of pics, takes me back👍
