Enriching Student Lives at the Faculty of Business with Plymouth University

The Faculty of Business strives to ensure that our students have an outstanding student experience whilst completing their studies with us. We aim to achieve this via Student Enrichment.

Our aim is to create and deliver the best student experience possible through a variety of different mediums. We work in partnership with our students and the Programme Lead for a course, so that students are able to thrive and succeed in their studies, along with gaining some fantastic skills, knowledge and memories.

Who are the Enrichment Team?
The Enrichment team comprises of:
Kelly Smith, Enrichment and Recruitment Coordinator and Suzanne Hawkins, Enrichment Administrator and are based in the Cookworthy Building.

What do we do?
We help the Schools /Programme Leads within the faculty of Business arrange activities /events that will enhance the student experience, some of these are:

•Work with Societies in relation to our Faculty subjects
•Purchase key text books
•Purchase vouchers
•Arrange field trips both nationally and internationally
•Pay for student to attend conferences
•Arrange social events
•Arrange formal events
•Arrange for external speakers to come and talk to year groups
•Internship bursaries
•Year in industry bursaries
•Student expenses for course related activities
•Student merchandise
•Mentoring students
•Support of PAL (Peer assisted learning)
•Support student engagement with professional bodies
•Support external courses
