The children made Jam Tarts today, they smelt and tasted delicious 😋

What a busy week the children have had finding out all about jungle animals, we have talked about all the different animals and made some jungle animal craft as well as a visit this afternoon from the zoolab company who brought in some animals for the children to view including a tarantula, a snake and some reptiles also 🐍🦎🐌🕷. Also this afternoon we had super sports in doing football games with the children, we think they will all sleep well tonight 😴

Continuing working on our outdoors area, does anyone have any old pots, pans, baking trays and non sharp cooking utensils that the children can use in the mud kitchen please

This morning the children made Fudge with Louise, and this afternoon they made Banana bread with Cheryl.

Today the children has been planting tomato plants and strawberry plants. We are making improvements to our garden area we would like to restock our mud kitchen if anyone has any old saucepans, cooking utensils bowls etc that no longer need we would happily receive them for the children to use in the mud kitchen, thank you so much 😊

Our theme this Term is growth, we have been talking about people and the differences between us, the children made one handprint and a staff member the other print, to compare the sizes. This covers the following areas of the national curriculum: maths, understanding of the world, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development.

Summer club booking forms now available 😆☀️ Open from Monday 29th July- Friday 16th August 9am-3pm Monday to Friday for all children from any setting. The price is £3.25 an hour, just choose your hours (min of 3 hours per day you attend) bring a packed lunch and sun cream and have a brilliant summer of fun with lots of different activities happening everyday alongside our themes, a great way to keep children in a similar routine as well as make new friends, try new activities, new experiences and have great fun this summer. This morning the children made cheese twists which they have took home today, this afternoon the children made some yummy mini pizzas which they are for their afternoon snack 🍕
