... All reservations are cancelled with immediate effect, we are truly so sorry.
It wasn’t a hard decision in the end, we have to protect our team, you and the wider community
But we still need to help our most vulnerable...
As more and more people desert the high street, their offices, the shops, more pubs and restaurants close, our homeless have lost their sources of food, income and human interaction...
So if we are allowed we will be providing free food for the homeless from 12 to 5pm Tuesday to Friday starting next week and providing any other essentials we can find for some of our most vulnerable in our community, for as many days as we possibly can.
We will also offer a hand sanitiser station whilst we have stock.
The entrance for this will be on Dove street at the back of the pub

We will be reopening the front and put back the butchers and stock emergency supplies. These supplies will be prioritised for families and the the elderly.
We also be launching a delivery service to bring you our famous Ribs & Wings so please support us when we do...
We are working on all of this please give us a few days...

Today is St Patricks and churches are exempt from all restrictions.
We are pleased to announce the Church of Bhoys of the Holy Exchange Street Norwich, opposite Jarrolds, will be open for Mass on this special day.
Service will start from 12 noon and food and communion from 5pm.....the choir will be singing during the evening...led by the Reverend Jimmy Hart.
... As a special thanks to St Patrick, worshippers may be served a pint of Guinness rather than the communion wine...
We hope you can join us for this special service - if you can’t, we understand why...all worshippers will be asked to give thanks to the Lord and sanitise their hands before entering the Church of Bhoy.

St Patrick’s weekend is here, we have so much going on..we even had a little warm up party last night. Let Guinness be your medicine...Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday...we’ve got it all covered

Ok Norwich, time for all of us to step up...
We are in regular contact with many homeless people in Norwich. It’s becoming apparent it’s really hard for them to wash their hands or access anti bacterial gels/spray especially in the evening.
Please share this and let any vulnerable people know they are welcome to pop in to Butchers Bhoy opposite Jarrolds on Exchange Street and wash their hands any time we are open...
... If you have your own business or pub etc and are happy to allow access please add it so people know where they can come in without fear.
These guys are truly vulnerable and often have the underlying health issues that truly put them at real risk.
We will also try and source some anti bac gels and will distribute for free once we have found some.
It can’t just be about what the government or council can do, let’s all look after each other...
