Adrenalin are here and doing a warm up - they sound great!! They will be starting 9pm (approx) we have got special gins available, some old favourites and some new ones to try - Lemon drizzle is my new favourite! 🍋🍸You could try Sevilla or Tanqueray Rangpur ( a lime flavoured Gin) too. 😀

After posting a number of events that will be happening in the coming weeks, we've been a bit quiet this week. So here's what's happening this week:
1) Adrenalin (see event photo below) will be playing live tommorrow from 9pm ish. Not had any bands for a bit, due to delayed refurbishment (now happening mid-October), so get along to the pub for some live music
2) We have a big delivery of flavoured gins & vodkas arriving today. We will post what we have to offer later tonight....
3) Lots of football over the weekend: Fri 17th Aug Birmingham vs Swansea 745pm Sat 18th Aug Cardiff vs Newcastle 1230pm Sat 11th Aug Preston vs Stoke 530pm Sat 18th Aug Man City vs Huddersfield 130pm Sun 12th Aug Brighton vs Man Utd 4pm
These games are shown on the TVs inside the pub & also on the big screen outside in the beer garden
4) Bouncy Castles will be up at lunch time on Saturday & Sunday, weather permitting

we went for a meal and it was lovely we was made to feel welcome and the landord and everyone came to talk to us. we will be going again. nothing was to much trouble for them. a friendly pub all round

Went for Sunday dinner, was very nice meal and pudding. Service and staff were excellent definitely recommended to others and repeat visits from myself.

We went for Sunday lunch today and found it faultless. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great and the staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be eating there again.

We popped in on a Saturday night and had a lovely meal, nice portion sizes. I had a steak, it was cooked perfectly and filled me up nicely, so much that I couldn't fit a dessert in and I like dessert. My partner had the Stroganoff and it filled the plate. Both of us enjoyed the meal and we shall pop again sometime. Great friendly service by all the staff.

Sunday lunch was realy lovely all fresh veg with crispy roast potatoes and all hot ,we all realy enjoyed our meal the beef was lovely and plentiful realy good value lunch, In fact so reasonable we all had desserts as well , Thank you Butchers Arms will defo be having sunday lunch again very soon .

Not from local area, made to feel extremely welcome, staff where more than friendly, made a very good experience, plus had two kids and a dog, but wasn't an issue!

Not been in for a long time, lovely early evening meal & drinks. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.

My husband and I went yesterday lunchtime and the meal was absolutely great, couldn't fault it. The staff from the people serving behind the bar to the staff who brought our meals were very friendly, polite, will certainly be back. Thank you

Just had an unplanned last minute tea there, absolutely lovely had the chicken and chorizo, fantastic service and brilliant helpful staff, will definitely be returning thank you �

Had a lovely Sunday dinner, staff are all really friendly and very helpful especially with the older members of the family. The strawberry and chocolate sundaes are amazing!! Great time had by us all. Thank you

Went with friends for a meal last night . The atmosphere was really good and the service was excellent. We had a lovely meal with plenty of choices.the new landlord came over to speak to us to tell us about his future renovation plans , we wish him every success.

Nice pub, good food and had a couple of real ales on draft - Doombar and Rev James. The latter of which I had a few pints of.

Just a quick pint on my cycling route, nice pub and a good foaming pint of cold Carling. A quid for a packet of Cheese & Onion crisps was a bit of a sting. Would recommend and definitely call in again if I’m in the area 😀👍

Had a good night,the fire was lit so very cozy,my daughter and son in law had a meal there earlier in the night and thoroughly enjoyed it,we were introduced to the landlord who was very friendly

Enjoyed a Sunday roast (pork) yesterday, whilst my Husband had a steak which was perfectly cooked to his liking (medium).

I also had a dessert, homemade apple crumble and custard which was delicious.

Pleased they use fresh vegetables, and not frozen as do so many pubs and restaurants.

Will definitely be back, and good to know food is served until 8pm, whereas most places stop serving at 3/4pm.

Landlord came over to introduce himself and to ask whether we had enjoyed our meal, and, also to let us know about future renovations.

don't normally leave bad reviews BUT- came on a lunch break with girlfriends and we ordered a sandwich each. Staff came back 20 mins later to say they didn't have the filling we had ordered so we chose another. ONE HOUR later our food came; burnt, chips where out of a bag and not homemade as stated on menu- completely different to the chips the couple had next to us. No apology. Not sure why it takes that length of time to made a sandwich!! wasted 1.5 hours waiting for inedible food.

called in today with friends,there was very little choice on the 2 course menu offer,so 3 of us ordered fish and chips and the other a cottage pie,we waited almost an hour for our food.when it came out the fish was over done and greasy and the chips were wedges also the cottage pie had more cheese on it than it did filling.i private messaged the butchers arms to complain about our meal but they didnt even have the decency to reply
