Pretty much hit Butlers every time we're 'up town' as you lot say in Gloucester. It is what it is. Probably the most popular bar for the 18-30ish, great selection of drinks, bar staff work fast to get to you when it's busy, music is good, new stuff, oldies, dancey and urban, a mixture to keep most people happy. My only gripe would be that it needs a bigger front door as it's a pain waiting to get in when it's busy. Looking forward to seeing what's going on with this Bar 1 oh whatever it's called as well. So in summary, Butlers is an essential stop off if you're on a night out in 'Glawster'. Well done Butlers.

Prefer Butlers to anywhere else now, a lot nicer atmosphere and the renovation is looking pretty amazing too!

I stood back and observed. I think the moment that stands out the most was when #Bar103 was temporarily closed security came in and took their place behind the bar to secure it whilst celebrations were being prepped next door, I was taken through to Butlers bar where I was shown where to stand. The staff all served the remainder customers just in time for them to take their places, tubes were handed out to staff and the crowds were boosted with the excitement to come, Jarrod was doing his bit up and down the bar encouraging the excitement even further whilst filming a live viewing: the staff also boosting that excitement all upholding absolute professionalism. They all looked so smart. Those customers who were fortunate to be at the front were camera ready to film, take photos, sing and cheer with anticipation of what was to come (customers wanting to film wow). The countdown moment I'll never forget, seeing my son Jaimee was a proud moment seeing the team: I was proud for Justin Hudson and all he has created and achieved. Then the explosion of confetti, singing, hugs and cheers.

Then action stations for resume of work. A moment I'll remember. A moment captured and one I will cherish.

Had my daughters 21st bday in VIP area we even had her grandparents who r in there 60's who absolutely loved it, there hospitality was exceptional, her grandparents turned up before we got there so they gave them seats and looked after then until our party arrived and I can't thank all the staff enough for an amazing night, thank u so much

Been in butlers before 1nce out of 2 and it was a total shit hole but yet again 5* if you want sticky shoes and a bunch of abuse of the pork chop security guards that act big because they got a badge.... in short even cafe Rene is better and I ent a town guy rather stay at home ВЈ3.60 for 4 rather than ВЈ7.20 for one

So after being a regular patron of this venue for many years, i'm very ashamed of your customer safety officers. To have four of them physically grab someone on the dance-floor and throw them out for no legitimate reason is quite frankly down right rude. When they were asked what the reason was they completely ignored the person and did not give a response yet radioed through to the customer safety officers and as a result was denied entry from all other bars. But what actually makes this whole situation shameful is the fact that they person in question who was rejected from the bar is disabled. Was a great venue now employed wrong people and gone to shit
