Butlin'S Bognor Regis Resort

Fun family holiday with lots to do for little ones but the facilities could do with updating, pool is old and carpets around amusements are held together with gaffer tape - It's been the same way for many years! Still good if you get a cheap deal for the hotels though which are much nicer than apartments or chalets.

Great room at Shoreline hotel which was very well designed for families with little children (we brought along a toilet seat and step for our toddler but discovered we didn't need it). The rooms could be better soundproofed. The little one was very excited about having his own little space with a bunk bed but found it hard to sleep there owing to the sound of footsteps in the corridor or doors closing. Our room was also above the goods entrance so come early Monday morning (probably 5.30am), I was kept awake by the activity of vehicles, etc. That said, the little one has had a lovely little holiday with plenty to see and do. We love the pool and slides, and think the new one opening in 2019 is something to look forward to. We went for the hotel dining plan and were very pleased with the selection and quality of food.

Provided what we paid for a midweek four night break for a family of four, you really can't fault it. Plenty for the kids to do, a sizeable fairground that's open daily and extremely helpful and friendly staff. We were in a standard 3-room apartment that was a bit on the small side but clean & comfortable. A bit more shower pressure in the bathroom would have been nice, but that's just a minor gripe. You even get a welcome pack with tea, coffee milk, washing up items and tea towel. Will definitely bring the kids back one day.

I have been here twice this year. I went in August with my grand daughter. She had a smile on her face all week. Enjoyed every minute with her.
And this week went with the clients I worked with. Was very disappointed with the evening entertainment. We go every year . Even my clients commented on the entertainment wasn't as good as it was last year. 😢

We had a lovely stay in gold accommodation. The resort is tidy and well presented and there are many things going on to keep you entertained. There's a great selection of places to eat, drink or grab a snack. The staff are fantastic and really engage the children in the activities. The only niggle was the main slide in the pool which has been out of action for some time. Although I understand the pool is being completely refurbished for next season.

Great place for all categories, amazing for family outing but great for non family too. The restaurant serves amazing food with a range of choices per dining. The staff are very walm and very helpful, friendly and always full of smiles.

Great location on the beach and staff all very friendly / polite. Good range of facilities and if you have a dining package the food is varied and good quality. We were disappointed with the swimming pool in particular which has broken flumes and they don't plan to fix at all. A new pool complex will come in 2019 but that's a long way off! Overall the resort is great but the pool brings the marks down.

Regularly go to adult big weekends (80's 90's etc.) and have an amazing time. On my last trip after buying a 4 pint pitcher me and a friend questioned the amount of alcohol in the pitcher (which was below the 4 pint line). We were referred to a manager who then decided to call us stupid and told I wouldn't be served anymore. Now I know I had a few drinks but I certainly wasn't drunk. Plus I wasn't given what I paid for. 2 inches of head on top of a pitcher will not give you 4 pints. The beer should go up to the line. I think the staff need training in manners and numeracy. A pint of beer is a pint of beer - Not 9/10 pint of beer and 1/10 pint of head.

Great place for a family holiday. The Ocean hotel was lovely, would recommend you choose this for your accommodation where possible. We could trade our hotel dinner for any of the restaurants on site if fancied a change, although the hotel food was very nice too. The Spa was compact but had everything you need. Lots of kids entertainment and short walk into town.
