Happy New Year to all our Butterflies and their families. We look forward to seeing you when we are back open on Wednesday 9th January.

Well Christmas has officially started. The staff have been busy cleaning today and the Pre-school is all ready for the New Year. This Term has been a fun-packed but busy one, well done to all our Butterflies for lasting 8 weeks, they were certainly tired the last few days. We’ve had an amazing Christmas Fair, Christmas play session for the parents and Party this week. Thank you to all parents and carers for your support with our Fun Fridays and fundraising events. Yesterday t...he children got cosy with bean bags, cushions and blankets and watched The Snowman ⛄️, a perfect end to a brilliant term. We wish all our Butterflies and all their families a wonderful Christmas. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year as well as welcoming our new Butterflies too. I would also like to say a huge Thank you to all the Butterflies staff who have worked so hard this term, we have an amazing team and hope you all have a well deserved rest with your families. We have our Christmas parties for the children on Wednesday in our normal sessions. If you would like to donate some food the lists are up on the parent board. If your child doesn’t normally attend on Wednesdays please talk to Tracey or Caroline as we have space for them to come. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

What an amazing day! We are sooooooo proud of all our Butterflies, you were SUPER STARS at our Parent Christmas play session and Christmas song time today. All the children have been brilliant over the last week, learning to sign Twinkle Twinkle using Makaton aswell as singing other Christmas songs too. You were fabulous! We hope all the parents that came along had fun joining in the Christmas crafts and activities with your children and enjoyed watching their performance. A huge thank you for coming along, it was great to see so many parents/grandparents today.

We’ve raised an amazing £275.60! from Saturdays Christmas Fair. A huge thank you to everyone who donated Tombola prizes, wine and cakes or came along on Saturday to join in the fun. Without your support we wouldn’t have raised so much for the pre-school so well done. If you missed the Fair we still have some Stocking Fillers and Reindeer food which we will have for sale on Wednesday at our Parent event. Again A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL 😀😀😀

A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the Pre-school at our Christmas Fair. It was lovely to see so many of you and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. We will count all money raised on Monday and let you know the total as all the elves are very tired now and are going home for a well deserved rest! 🎄🎄🎄

Don’t forget tomorrow is the second of our three “Fun Fridays”! It’s “silly hair” day tomorrow in return for a bottle of wine donation for our Christmas Fair “Wine or water stall”. We are looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! Feel free to be as silly or whacky as you wish!! 😂😂😂😂😂

The first of our “Fun Fridays” was a great success. The children loved dressing up ( and the staff too!) A BIG Thank you for all your wonderful donations for the Tombola. Looking forward to next Friday and seeing all your “Silly Hair” Styles.

The children have really enjoyed exploring different Nursery Rhymes each day for World Nursery Rhyme Week by taking part in lots of fun activities and singing each Rhyme too. Tomorrow will be "Round and Round the Garden".
