We would like to say a really big THANK YOU to Jack who has raised £235.00 for the Children's Hospice by baking and selling cakes over the last few weeks. Jack gave us a call and asked what the Children's Hospice needed so he could buy it with the money he had raised. He went and bought everything on the list which included - themed bedding sets, flat sheets as well as lots of craft supplies and DVD's.
Well Done Jack!

Butterwick Hospice in Bishop Auckland are currently celebrating their 24th anniversary.
We have been providing day care, family support and home care for an amazing 24 years and we are inviting you all to celebrate with us this Friday!
Friday 21st June 2019 from 7pm we are opening our Hospice Gardens for a birthday party 'western' style!
... Tickets are just £5 per person, include a burger, entertainment, games and much more! There is an alcoholic and non alcholic bar for an extra small charge.

Good Luck to John MacDonald who is taking on the Rat Race The Wall event on the 15th June. John will be running 96 miles over the Historic Hadrian's Wall - Carlisle to Newcastle upon Tyne over two days all in memory of his mum Elaine.

We are looking forward to our annual Food and Drink Festival at Preston Park Museum and Grounds on the 27th July from 2pm until 10pm.
We'll have an eclectic array of artisan foods, from the local vendors such as Falafel Fella Potion Drinks Deja Brew Cafe at GoSport The Porky Pint to name a few, lots of drink options and live music throughout the day! Along with face painting, raffle and tombola there is something for the whole family.
