Plenty of free parking. The team are really helpful, don't pressure you into a sale. Some decent deals too.

Absolutely appalled at the service from I believe the owner called peter. Called in to buy my little boy and girl their first bikes and one for myself. Rude arrogant and incompetent. Wrong order put through, tried to charge us more than the price tag and questioned my ability to afford when I questioned the errors! Would not recommend and I am going elsewhere!

I visited today and bought my third bike from the outlet. Impressive service , excellent and bespoke analysis of my cycling needs.Highly recommended with an erudite staff team who provided a cycling masterclass which informed my decision making. Thank you.

Great selection, great price and customer service!

Following a recent visit to the shop to pay to have the gears repaired on my son's bike (which we purchased at considerable cost from there at Christmas). We left in disgust at the way we were dealt with by the member of staff (possibly owner). He was simply rude and arrogant and obviously thought it was OK to lecture us loudly in front of other staff members and customers regarding the upkeep of the bike in question. We had rung the day before and explained what had happened to the gears and were told to bring the bike in. However when we arrived, they were less than helpful and tried to say the 5 month old bike needed a full service. Did not want to give this guy my business or money. Left the shop having travelled 10 miles to get there. Have taken the bike elsewhere and have happily paid for them to repair the broken gears. Won't be going back to Buy a Bike. A few lessons in Customer Service wouldn't go amiss!

Went to Evans cycles originally was shocked at service. As soon as we arrived at buy a bike one of the guys took us straight to kids bike. My son was able to try the bike unlike Evans who locked them up and didn't even offer to unchain the. Had the bike in the back of the car on 20 mins. Superb service. Even offered to buy bike off us as my son grows up. Honest service fantastic.

Called them up about an insurance claim after I was knocked of my bike. I was told to come down and bring some pictures of the bike and the damage and they sort it all.
When I went to the shop a few days later I was left standing in the shop while staff walked past me. When someone did come to speak to me I was told that I didn’t have all the information they needed. I said that I wasn't told to bring any. I found them to be very rude. I walked out and want be going back.

Great customer service and great choice, top marks.

New to cycling, me and partner will be frequent visitors here.

Our initial visit was on their late night opening, and the store was quite, and clearly wandering around the show rooms, we were asked if we needed help promptly. Explaining that we had been recomended a Giant Avant by friends, and explaining our budget, we were show bikes that were slightly over the budget I had in mind, but were end of season stock, and very cabable.

A few test rides around the yard, and tweaks to the bike and I'm a happy guy.

My partner is offered to look at Ladies bikes, or try a small gents, and its explained the price differences between each, being a girly girl, she of course opted for the pink & black Avant. Adding on essentials such as water bottles, helmets, and bottle holders.

Sound advice from start to finish, no hard sell, friendly and knoweledgeable staff, who clearly want to sell us the right gear, not what ever fills the tills.

Bikes ordered Thursday, and asked to collect Saturday, being advised they open at 11 on Saturday, we arrived at 11:05 and as promised both bike made up ready for us, another member of staff sized the bikes up to ensure the seats etc were in the right spot.

Whilst there we picked up some lights, shorts, lock & pump, at a very reasonable price and again with some brilliant advice. Just starting out we don't need top spec gear, and spending fortunes on gear.

Great place that has earnt my trust & loyalty. Done a 10km ride as soon as we got home and love the bikes.

Having owned the bike for 13 days, and covering 83miles, the bolts holding the toe clips to the pedals came loose, loosing 1 bolt entirely and the nut off another. Ringing the store to ask if I could bring it in to get it fixed that evening whilst purchasing some other bits, I was told yes.

I bring the bike into the store after first explaining the situation to the member of staff behind the till. She takes a look and explains that the pedals are just 'testing pedals' and should really be replaced with new pedals... and was I going to. Well yes, eventually, but after spending over £1000 on two new bikes, plus the additional cash we've spend on bits of clothing, pumps, lights, in the store, it's not a top priority.

The lady calls over a young lad to take a look and see if he can replace the bits in question, again I explain that one bolt is missing completely and the other side is just missing a nut. Young lad returns and replaces the missing bolt, one side, and leaves it as is.

A bit mythed, as to why he couldn't be bothered replacing the missing nut, or spend 5mins just checking the remaining bolts were tight.

Yes if I had the luxury of the space & tools to this myself at home, I would have, however I don't.

Perhaps it was an off day for them, and it wasn't the staff we've seen on previous visits who looked after us so well, but this one visit has damaged the trust and relationship built by the otherwise excellent staff.
