Hello Buzzy Beaters! A little bit of safeguarding advice: We have had to adapt the way we run our music session during the Covid-19 outbreak. These are difficult and changing times and we are committed to continuing to run our group in an as accessible and safe way as possible.
At the moment we are using Facebook Live to allow Buzzy Beats to reach our music loving families. Obviously this comes with new challenges that we are dealing with as efficiently as possible.
... To ensure the safety of everyone we would like to remind all you lovely people of a few simple guidelines:
🐝 Facebook is a public social media platform and we have no control over who can view what is posted. 🐝 There are various privacy settings within your account to help you join in safely. We would encourage you to check these regularly. 🐝 Facebook is a 13+ platform, please make sure you are with your child whilst they are watching our session. 🐝 Live videos can be accessed by anyone, please don’t reveal personal or identifying information. 🐝 You can send us a private message before the session but please leave at least 30 mins before the session starts otherwise we might not get to read it. 🐝 Please don’t accept friend requests from anyone you don’t know.
Please keep watching, joining in and tell your friends, and hopefully it won’t be long until things are back to normal in the Hive

Hello Buzzy Beaters, I just wanted to share this photo of instruments I made for a theatre show I worked on with The Birmingham Playhouse a few years ago. Each of these instruments was made of something I found on Llandudno beach, it was a particularly good day for beach combing! All I added was a bit of gaffer tape. So, how about seeing what you can make from a "beach combing" excursion round your house or garden?! See you next week teddies at the ready please, and best party clothes, since it is our birthday party!

Hello Buzzy Beaters! Thanks for joining me this morning. I miss your little smiling faces!! I am on a very steep learning curve, and trying to sort it all out from home, so, a couple of things you can help me with; I am currently filming on my phone- last week I tried it on landscape, this week on portrait, did anyone have a problem with either of those formats? I think it might depend what device you are watching from... I can’t actually see who is watching(I am as blind as ...a bat!) but I do have a system in place for next week, as suggested by Finley, so hopefully I can name-check a little less randomly, but please be aware, there are a lot of you tuning in so I can’t guarantee your child chosen. If you don’t want them name-checked let me know-I only do first names! We are going to continue with these Live sessions until further notice, so keep tuning in! Thank you so much for being there!
