Antique's and collectable's shop in the heart of Banburys Old Town.

Buzzy's Emporium sells an eclectic assortment of vintage collectables, memorabilia and antiques
Including fine jewellery, medals, glassware, ceramics, paintings, vintage furniture and retro unique items.
The smaller pieces and valuables are beautifully presented in glass display cabinets, which are tended to frequently by independent traders and dealers who replenish their stock week on week, therefore the shop always has a diverse range of curiosities for sale.

My name is Paul and I have over 45 years experience in retail, all gained on these premises.
In 1952 my father established his business here and traded as 'John Buzzard Ltd'; selling household electrical items and televisions.
In the early 1970's I became a joint partner and after his passing in 1992, I became the sole proprietor continuing to sell quality home entertainment systems, under the new shop name 'Buzzards'.
Due to advancement in technology and increasing internet competition, it was with regret that I ceased to trade in 2012.

The Banbury town centre has seen many changes and developments, with the original antique shops having closed down or relocating over the years.
I believe this was of a great disappointment to the Banbury people, and therefore opened Buzzy's Emporium in the spring of 2013. Since then, I have received positive feedback not only from the public but from the dealers with whom I rent shop space and cabinets too.

Buzzy's Emporium is ideally located, in Parsons Street which forms part of the Banbury Old Town.
'Holloway's Auctioneers' are nearby and they have free valuation days every Thursday which has proved very useful to my new customers.
With Parsons Street now being pedestrianized, it has become a busier part of town with a friendly community feel, unique shops, restaurants, café's and public houses which are steeped in history. In addition, Parsons Street holds street parties and themed window displays throughout the year.
