Having started training aged 15 I immediately fell in love with the industry. Over the years I’ve developed my own eclectic style of cooking. I enjoy pushing boundaries with my work, using modern techniques and new and unusual flavour combinations to create food that’s exciting and original.
To me the perfect plate of food is as impressive visually as its tastes with a perfect balance of colours, textures and flavours. I like to research different ingredients, cultures and modern food trends to create innovative and quirky new dishes. Using fresh, local, seasonal produce wherever possible is really important to me, as I believe it captures the time of year and enhances the flavour of the dish.
I am a passionate chef with a good attention for detail and a keen eye for presentation and take pride in improving peoples dining experience.
I offer bespoke menus for intimate dinner parties to larger events or celebrations; either in the comfort of your own home or at a privately booked venue.
Together we’ll design you an original menu whether you’re looking for a fine dining experience or modern tapas sharer. Menus are developed around your likes, dislikes and allergies. Whatever the occasion, I will make it just right for you. What’s more, I’ll leave your kitchen clean and tidy.
I also offer cooking demonstrations , create original pop-up restaurants and available for guest chef evenings .

What can I say about Darren Rogan Chef Solutions. He is amazing and the food was a feast for the eyes. The evening was very informal and laid back. Everything was provided. All I had to do was provide wine glasses. I would highly recommend this. Words cannot describe how amazing this experience was.
What a fantastic evening we had Friday night, Darren came to our house with a great waiter called Scott, Darren took over our kitchen and cooked some great Canapes then a brilliant meal, Scott kept us well supplied with drinks ( I did not have to get up) and served us brilliantly. When they left the kitchen was clean and tidy, what a great way to have a dinner party. Highly recommended.
We organised a surprise meal for a friend and couldn't have asked for anything more! Darren arrived with everything you could possibly think of for a dinner party, set everything up and cleaned everything afterwards. His food is outstanding and it was all presented beautifully. Everyone had an amazing experience, being in your own home but with restaurant quality food and service. Will definitely be using again �

So imagine...it's your birthday or other special occasion. You fancy having a great meal with family and friends. You could choose to visit one of the excellent local restaurants and eat/drink from their selection.
Or...
You could call Darren, tell him what type of food you like, how many courses you would prefer, have him design a fine dining menu with you, turn up at your house, prepare and cook everything from fresh, serve it at your table (with some support from his helper), drink your own wine served at the table (no corkage charge), have everything washed, cleaned and tidied away while you and your guests wind down for the evening. It would probably take you less time to decide than it did to read this! Excellent choice! Can't recommend Darren highly enough.
My husband surprised me by booking Darren for our anniversary. Darren came to our home and cooked the most amazing 8 course meal. He worked with my husband to design a menu we would both enjoy. Every course was delicious and presented beautifully. Everything was taken care of including the plates and cutlery and our kitchen was left spotless... cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend Darren.
My fiancee hired DRCS for a private family meal of 10. The food was outstanding, which was a bespoke Menu created just for us, and the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and my family were very impressed! Would definitely recommend and will be using DRCS in the future :)

Darren provided us with excellent dishes for our wedding day and have to admit the food that was served was the very best i had tasted.

Darren created and cooked up an amazing menu for 12 people at my father in laws birthday at Northolme Hall. Not only was the food and presentation 5* quality but the entire service from start to finish was perfection. Darren is very personable and a pleasure to work with.

Cooking for eighteen people in an alien kitchen is not easy but Darren did a superb job at our Birthday Country House weekend in Northolme Hall. Our group included carnivores, veggies, a vegan and dairy free diets, and the odd fussy eater which were all catered for beautifully. Excellent, delicious menu graciously served by the lovely Natasha. Would we recommend them? Absolutely YES.
