Went in with my daughter today ( 1st time), really enjoyed our burgers & waitress was really friendly, will def go back

The burgers 🍔 were delicious, highly recommended, so many options on the 🍟 normal, cheesy, sweet potato 🥔 and courgette and the milkshakes were outstanding - fresh pieces of strawberry 🍓 in the 🍓 one and gorgeous tasting chocolate 🍫 one. Will deffo go again 🤗 Exeter

Staff went out of their way to fit us in and make us comfortable (pushchair with small baby), the food and service were great, happy customers

Popped in for a quick bite to eat with our toddler yesterday. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful - even bringing out our daughters meal a little earlier which was great. Food was fantastic - the burgers were so tasty, will definitely be coming back when we’re next in Exeter. Many thanks.

I love Byrons. It's so great to have a proper hamburger and not the run of the mill mince and onions which they all call homemade burgers and which are horrible.

Byron burgers taste like proper meat and even have a rump steak taste. I don't know what cut of meat they're made from but it's lovely. Not over cooked either. Medium. My husband asked for well done and it was served exactly as he likes them. Great French fries too.

My one and only slight niggle was that they could have been warmer. Other than that. Brilliant.

Great food , one of the better food joints 👍

We've been a few times now. The staff are always really happy and helpful although on the most recent visit, once we'd had our order taken and the food arrived, no one did a check to see if we were ok which was a shame as I'd have like mayo! The food is great- the onion rings were really greasy and the only thing I wouldn't recommend. We will defiantely go back though!

User

Loved the milkshakes. Burgers were fine but fries were soggy and not properly cooked. Think we may have picked a bad time as service was very slow, not the serving staffs fault but the chef apparently. Waitresses were great and apologised for the wait. Bless em think they were fed up with it.

User

Been here a few times now and the burgers are excellent and service great. It does irk me though that you have to order chips separately at £3 a pop and they come in a seriously small cup to make them look cool and trendy. Come on Byron, add the chips to the meal... the burger looks seriously lonely on the plate with nothing else.

Amanda & I had a burger each, we both felt they were really good quality, hot, tasty and good value for money. Amanda also had a milkshake which was also extremely good. Emily had the children's chicken pieces ( like nuggets but far better) which she really enjoyed. Service was good, so overall a really good experience and would certainly recommend it and visit again.

Visited for a birthday treat as we love the food. Disappointed last night as it was so cold we all had to keep our coats on and all we could think about was feeling so cold! The evening was then ruined when a group of drunk, very loud and rowdy men where shown to the table next to us. We all ended up feeling cold and intimidated and couldn't wait to go home.

First time visiting Byron, it came well recommended, however the time it took to get our meal was horrendous, the burgers were really good but luke warm, and really amazed that two burgers, two salads and two shakes one coffee and one coke costs in excess of £65!!! Wow you would have thought that you would get at least chips with that lonely burger on a plate

User

Difficult one this. The negative is the price £60 plus for 4 burgers 3 sides and 4 drinks. The positives are the staff are fantastic and the burgers are great (apart from the bun). But £15+ for a burger, fries and drink.

User

After recommending Byron Burgers to a friend, we visited last night for another tasty meal. But disappointed in the lack of staff and long waiting times. When the burgers eventually arrived, they were only luke warm and trying to get a member of staff quickly was impossible so we just ate. Hopefully, things will be better when we visit next time.

User

Slow staff, disorganised and our server was useless. Do not recommend

User

First visit. Wasn’t over impressed with the food, thought it was overpriced and you had to pay extra for fries. Better places and more reasonably to eat in Exeter.

Me and my brother went to the Exeter branch yesterday at about 3.15 for a late lunch. From start to finish it was horrible! Service was cold and distant, the waitress had no personality and no care! I personally worked for byron last year and I know byron love people and getting to know your customers! Whilst ordering the burgers I was never asked about how I wanted them cooked... I had to ask! We ordered the Halloumi fries to start with were good! But then we had to wait a good 20 mins for our mains. I had to ask fo a second drink! Burgers came. I had a smoky MR and my brother had a classic cheese MW. His was well well well done! Dry and burnt! Mine was more MW and dry! Lack of sauce in mine which made is very bland! My brother couldn’t even finish his due to it being so dry! We were table checked but to be honest I didn’t feel comfortable to complain! The waitress and chef were loudly talking polish (I believe) it made us feel like they were talking about us. After we had finished eating I was going to speak to the manager as our waiter had gone on her break. But he disappeared up stairs and no one was on the floor for a good 10 mins. Then a new waiter appeared and ignored us to about 20 mins. We had to call him over to clear are plates and ask for the bill. £44.70 for 2 people for lunch...... that was rubbish! We then had to ask to pay, which he asked how we wanted to pay. My brother was paying and said ‘cash please’ the waiter then asked me ok you? I was like no my brother is paying all of it! He then asked ‘all on card then?’ It’s like he wasn’t even listening to us! For the first time we didn’t tip! And both of us in this trade is a big no no! But honestly we will never go back to your Exeter branch! The standards have dropped there and you can tell!

Thanks

I am absolutely fuming. This is the third takeaway I've had from them and my family and friends are regular customers and it is wrong. It is not my order at all and considering I live 20 minutes away this is completely unacceptable.

Cold burgers 1 beef

1 chicken both cold .., rubbish #salmonella
