Excellent pint of Old Speckled Hen and IPA. Not been tempted by the Abbot ale yet. Food is at reasonable prices and really quite good. Been in quite a few times since we moved here.

Absolutely love this place! Cheap beer, cheap food but it is all excellent quality! Staff are tip top. Even when kitchen are short staffed and it is busier than usual, they still manage to produce tip top food. Highly recommend to everyone

Food wasn't good at all. Cheap, but I'd rather pay a little more and get something actually edible. Partner had fish and chips - or batter and chips as it should have been. The little bit of fish she did have wasn't fresh in the slightest - a really awful smell and taste. Avoid at all costs!
