C Anderson & Sons

An internet search brought us to Anderson & Sons. We wanted a neighbourhood company to replace our broken boiler and to become our local resource for plumbing issues. One of their partners, Crawford, responded to the internet query and was on site within the hour. Based on their competitive quote, we gave them the business and agreed an installation date. Their engineer, Sukhdeep, took two days to install the new boiler and do related work. He did a great job, was precise in his work and was very friendly. Overall, we were very pleased with the quick response and final installation....and we now have heat in our flat! Would definitely recommend this company.

Plumbing works carried out efficiently and well. Work and charges were communicated very clearly and the plumber did a very good job. These are my go to plumbing guys now!

I have used C Anderson and Sons many times for plumbing work. They always sort out the problem and leave my tenants happy that they have been well looked after. Their costs can seem expensive, but not much more than other plumbing companies and certainly less than Pimlico Plumbers. At the end of the day, I am happy to pay a bit more and know that the job has been done well by C Anderson and Sons.

C Andersons and Sons came out to fix a problem with our shower and did a fab job! Service was great and would def use them again!

On both attempts I booked twice an appointment for a plumber to give a quote on a couple of jobs - on both occasions the plumber did not turn up and also the company told me that he was on his way - he never turned up. I wont use them again as they are not reliable and not honest.

From the onset of contact (Management and engineer) - courtesy and manners! Punctuality - actually EARLY (called to check that this would be OK). The job dealt with efficiently! I'm sure the "follow up" will be dealt with in the same manner! THANK YOU!

The Engineer, David, arrived on time at 5pm on a Saturday as scheduled. He was polite, efficient and explained himself well. David performed system tests and worked through the problem ensuring my water was back on in 30 mins. I would recommend Andersons highly and would certainly use again going forward.

Horrible experience!!! Called for a roof leak. 15 minute lazy inspection, didn't even bother checking the rooftop, hence couldn't find a very obvious broken tile which caused the leak. This lead 5 hours wasted time on a Saturday, which spilled over to a Monday. The whole job could have easily completed in under two hours. They tried to charge us for 5 hours of work plus whatever is gonna take on Monday. After continuous complaining they could only settle for a three hour charge plus very expensive material cost, and the initial one hour call out charge for the first inspection. £500 to replace two broken tiles and 1 square meter of felt. The whole process was very tiring and the staff, especially the manager, were very rude throughout.

Think again when you call them, their work is fine but the charge and services reflects horrible management procedures, so unless you don't mind waste a lot of time and been massively overcharged! However given the fact that the manager was so rude they probably don't care about their reputation!

DO NOT USE Have had this lot to our flat 4 times now (1 no show) 1 morning appointment when the plumber turned up at 16.30. Originally this was just for a boiler service, but were told the flu wasn't legal and would have to put right - cost £680 (after my husband pointed out that the engineer had overcharged by £50.00, supposed mathematical error) Work done on flu, it became clear that the service had not actually been done and they were called out again to replace a valve that needed repairing. For this they quoted another nearly £900) Engineer was there for 1.5 hours, though we were told it would be an all day job. My husband refused to pay the whole amount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .

C Anderson & Sons delivered a fuss free service and good quality work. The staff both engineer and in the office were very helpful and efficient. Job done. Highly recommend this plumbing firm to anyone in need of expert help!

This is a terrible company. DO NOT USE IT. They installed a boiler in our property with the wrong pipe which then failed a gas safe certification. Foolishly we then hired them to install a laminate flooring through the property. The floor was done to a very low standard and subsequently buckled in two places. They repeatedly failed to show up at agreed times and work consistently ran late. This company will take your money and run. Be warned.
