Sometimes we have to go above and beyond... Literally, and it is not for the faint hearted! This aerial / satellite rig had rotten parts on it, but was inaccessible due to a bin store being built below since the original installation.
Hiring cherry pickers for such jobs can be expensive as you usually have to rent for a minimum of a week, but Adrian Shaw of AD Powered Access has the solution! He charges by the hour and includes his driving services meaning that you do not ne...ed IPAF certification to drive this brilliant machine. In early January we completed one of the largest audio visual contracts ever undertaken in our (nearly) 16 year history.
The center piece of our work was the 5m diagonal video wall installed 3m above floor level in the main atrium. Sixteen 49" Philips screens knitted together to show everything from branding, classes and karaoke! Generating the sound are two aesthetically pleasing Audac AXIR speakers. Sending the HD picture from a nearby comms room over cat6 cable is HDAnywh...ere technology.
Outside the main Atrium works, we installed:
Cisco Meraki wireless access points for WIFI Hanspree monitors for teaching facilities and digital signage LG televisions for classrooms, digital signage and gaming Vivi screen mirroring units Sony Playstations for gaming booths Boardroom web meeting facilities provided by Logitec Meetup
The most enlightening and exciting part of this project has been witnessing an easy to setup and universal screen mirroring solution provided by Vivi. We cannot recommend this enough, what a wonderful product!
Its been a fantastic and high pressure install over the Christmas and New Year period but we delivered on time and under budget.

Unbelievable 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos cinema system finished today in Rutland. A wonderful addition to a wonderful house. Amazing hiding of the electronics by the joiners!
