We're looking to take on a confident, smiley & hardworking individual, who will ultimately be involved in every aspect of our small 'street-restaurant'.
This is an excellent position for someone looking to get into a thriving and expanding restaurant business at ground level!
... We are based in Shoreditch/Spitalfields (just by Brick Lane) (E1)
PAY:
£9-11 depending on experience. PLUS
Large tips due to the private 3-course meals we run 2-3 times a week in the cabin.
You will be heavily involved in the kitchen (following our recipes but also having the discretion to suggest new additions to the menu) but will also help host and waiter our supper club style evenings we have in the cabin every week, becoming a major part of our growing business.
The successful candidate(s) will be involved in the following:
- Following all our recipes. - Preparation of sauces and other condiments. - Preparation of food for the day's service. - Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. - Serving our street-food menu out of the hatch during the day to our loyal customers at our railway cabin in East London. - Working our pub kitchens if this suits you better. - Just generally being an amazing human..
We feel it would be an incredible opportunity for a budding chef or foodie looking to get his/her foot in the door. We are looking for full-time candidates but part-time work is also available!
Hours are flexible and pay is very competitive. We are especially looking for people who are FLUENT and CONFIDENT in spoken English as you will be customer facing.
