It is with regret that we announce the closure of our cafes at York City Art Gallery and the Merchant Adventurers Hall. This is purely a financial decision. Four years ago we took the plunge and set up a separate business to the Bistro for the purposes of outside catering aswell as running our two sister cafes. Try as we might we could never make it financially viable, and so we have taken the decision to fold that business and direct all of our energies once again to running the Bistro on Gillygate. We enter into 2019 with a renewed sense of optimism and look forward to welcoming customers old and new at the Bistro.
