Reviews
We’ve been for 2 x evening meals and just had afternoon tea and every time ~ no complaints.
Good food, good service 👍🏻
I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the food was better than other places I've in eaten in kent. We was given plenty of time and choices of different options. Not sure where the others reviews came from but not the experience I received today and would go back.
Very quiet when we arrived. Seated promptly & handed menus. Waiter was back within a minute asking if we were ready to order. Drinks order taken but we didn’t get them for at least 10 minutes (only another 4 tables in use!). Ordered our starters & I ordered a ribeye steak. ‘Sorry, no ribeyes’. Why couldn’t he have said what wasn’t available at the start? Attention to detail lacking badly.
One starter served even though we ordered two. ‘Sorry I misunderstood’ was the excuse. Instead of taking the first one back & keeping it hot it was left with us! Second starter delivered eventually & that was the last we saw of our waiter. Mains delivered by a very surly waitress.
We won’t be back in a hurry. Staff need retraining methinks.
Very disappointed compared with Canterbury.
Waiting staff were very rude and not helpful , when asking if the toilets were at the back I got a very aggressive ‘yes’ and nothing else , service was very slow and half of food was cold upon ‘late’ arrival not a great experience at all
Gone down hill as slow services waiting nearly an hour for main meal from the time we ordered. Main course was cold in the middle and had to send away for re cooking.
Repeat drink order was totally different.
Other couples who came into the restaurant 20 minutes after us had their main course served before ours and had finished their by the time we got ours. Got a managers discount of £9.15.

Think I will be recommending this restaurant in a long time especially as I used to love cafe Rouge.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lauren who served us was excellent. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food and it has finished a great weekend for us in Sheffield. Well done Cafe Rogue.
Lovely afternoon tea, great service. Waitress very friendly & helpful. I will definitely be going back.
Had a lovely lunch there today with my daughter. Karolina served us and she was very friendly and efficient and very well spoken. Thank you Karolina.
Great service from Lauren and we really enjoyed the food.
Great service & lovely food
Fast service lovely food
I’ve been here today for afternoon tea, the food it’s self was lovely, but tea & coffee not refillable, 1st afternoon tea I’ve been to that doesn’t offer refills
The service was good in so far as the waiting staff were attentive and polite. However, they brought three lots of fries rather than the two lots we ordered. We highlighted this answer not charged for the third set. We ordered rib eye steaks and were served sirloin in error. We were too tired to say anything. The meat was well cooked, but a poor quality cut. Overall, the meal was nice, but not quite to the sane standard as Prezzo, Pierre's, Zizzi, or Giraffe despite the extra cost. It's a shame because they have a lovely location and the Chiselhurst branch does so well. I suspect they have either a supplier or stock estimation issue (head chef) and that the waiting staff are tired from being overworked. So maybe we just hit an 'off' day.
We waited 35 minutes before someone brought us menus and took our drinks order, in spite of several reminders. They clearly do not have sufficient staff or they are badly organised. On a positive note the food was worth waiting for when it finally arrived and was good value with our online discount voucher.
