Café Rouge - Hertford

We had the best evening ever.. we went for dinner on Tuesday night as our daughter got us a gift voucher for Christmas.. the food was outstanding.. the staff was very helpful and polite and kepted askingbif we was ok.. would recommend to everyone.. great service.. great atmosphere and most of all it was lovely to spend a few hours with my hubby. Thank you cafe Rouge for a great evening..

The staff were friendly and polite

Wasn’t your usual good service, ran out of veg soup, had butternut squash soup which was hot and tasty, the main of braised beef was a disappointment as I could not see no meat, so I had the steak, it wasn’t cooked how I wanted and ask for salad and got French fries instead, waitress was concerned and asked if we would like a complementary drink and I said we had just got one, then she offered a free dessert which I said thankyou, as I said the quality was lovely but was obviously a bad day �
