This is a good solid 'greasy spoon' type cafe that's been here for years. Lots of locals, friendly staff and a decent menu very well priced - think jacket potatoes, all day breakfasts. I usually go for the veggie breakfast and they are always happy to swap items if you want.
Of note is the proper coffee that they serve rather than instant that you get in a lot of similar places.
I usually go when visiting family in the area and its always the same consistent quality.

Food and service is very good. Decor needs updating to add to ambience.

The food is wonderful. The staff is polite, The food prices is affordable. Always busy with customers. That's why I went there as well of been told by friends.

Fast service. Good, reasonably price cafe food. Great for a fry up, jacket potatoes. Don't sit near the toilets.....horrible bleachy smell.

Used to be a very loyal customer, going there for around 10 years. Last time I went they only had a table outside. When my food came I took a bite, and saw a tables had opened up inside. I loved my food inside and then went back for my tea outside. When I got back inside to my new table. They had thrown my food away. A whole F*****g plate of food!! I had literally cut off a bit of bacon egg and a corner of toast. I barely got an apology, and offered a new meal as an afterthought. I refused.
The place has been pennny pinching for years and now it is just another s***e cafe. I can see why greasy spoons died out and Starbucks and costa coffee replace them.
Honestly would never recommend again
