Hi Folks - just to let you know that our opening hours over the Christmas period are as follows:
Monday 24th - open from 8 until 2; Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th - closed; Thursday 27th and Friday 28th - open from 8 until 3; ... Saturday 29th - open from 9 until 2; Monday 31st - open from 8 until 3; Tuesday 1st - closed; Wednesday 2nd - open as normal from 8.

No biggie folks but just thought we'd mention that we've been judged to be the best upscale cafe in Bristol in the 2018 Lux Life Food and Drink awards.

we are bidding a (slightly premature) farewell to Jack and Charlie this evening; if you want to pop in and tell them who makes the best latte, you might get a glass of lukewarm blue nun for your troubles. CM

Sadly, Jack and Charlie will shortly be leaving us in order to pursue their degree studies in marketing and P.E respectively (so fifty grand well spent there); we are therefore looking to recruit one or two replacements. The role is primarily front of house involving mastery of the coffee machine and till system, customer service and lots of lovely clearing down. Morning folks - like the slightly seedy DJ at your cousin's wedding, we are now taking requests; accordingly, and at the request of the wonderful Beau of Beaujolais Hair Studio here at Kestrel Court, today's specials include macaroni cheese. Beau has promised me that if we sell 50 portions she will reverse my hair loss so it is for a worthy cause.

Hi Folks - we are delighted to let you all know about a couple of changes here at Cafe Marina.
Firstly, we've introduced a new lunch time menu (available from 11.30 or so); please take a look via the link here on Facebook or our website. If anything tickles your fancy, please do pop in and try it.
Secondly, for those occasions when you can't make it into the cafe, we do now offer an on-line ordering and delivery service; again, please check it out via our website.

I’m not ‘working’ today, just popped in for a coffee and to get a bit done on the laptop but I don’t think I’m going to be able to resist this delicious looking salad, looks like goodness in a bowl!

It's far too hot to have lunch in- come and grab a freshly prepared salad from our chiller and still have time for a walk around the Marina to enjoy the sun.

Here at Cafe Marina, we are starting to embrace what the kids on the street are calling "social media"; seriously folks, this could be big. We have been assisted in that regard by some terrific photos taken by the wonderful Rob Helliwell (https://robhelliwellphotography.com; Rob has gone from being my kids' favourite ever teacher to a new adventure in photography. Had this chicken NimJam salad for my dinner last night to Try it out for the counter today and it was yum! The sun may have taken a temporary holiday but this is freshy, zingy and summery- my new fave.

Hope you've all had a great bank holiday. So glad the sun came out for one of our lovely customer's garden party- she'd ordered frittatas , salads, coleslaw, scotch eggs, sausage rolls and fruit scones - all homemade and delivered fresh that morning. Speak to us about catering for your event.
