Cafe Nouveau Description
Café Nouveau is a newly established independent family business, situated next to the vaulted lounge in the Lighthouse Guest House in Tytherington, Frome. It offers an inviting, warm and relaxed space for everyone; from locals, families and friends, resident guests and holiday makers to small businesses, to enjoy the varied breakfast and lunch menus on offer.
Open daily, serving freshly brewed speciality coffee, a variety of teas including artisan, loose-leaf herbal teas and freshly blended smoothies. Our menu consists of delicious home made creations, fresh quality produce, locally sourced wherever possible, using seasonal ingredients and free range eggs and chicken.
Food intolerances are well catered for here at Café Nouveau, offering gluten, dairy free, paleo and vegetarian choices and variations on the menu are welcomed to suit your particular needs. Full allergen information is available upon request from a member of staff.

What a hidden gem!! Best light lunch I have had for a very long time, and gluten free!! Lovely setting too. Can't rate highly enough.

This is a lovely friendly cafe with so much to offer.
There is a great selection of delicious food, from healthy salads to full English breakfasts and homemade cakes.
They cater for a wide range of dietary requirements,a lot of dishes are dairy free and gluten free.
It is set in beautiful grounds, by a lake and swimming pool and breathtaking views.
Well worth a visit.
Such a warm & friendly place to come and relax with friends & family or lovely to pop into on your own, I have been popping in nearly every day over the past few months of finding this gem of a cafe, as I swim early in the morning just next door.
This is my treat after exercise & dog walk around the beautiful grounds.

Such a friendly welcome & deliciously tasty food every time we visit! Huge thanks to Susan and Janet from the lighthouse for kindly allowing us to use the gardens for my wife's 40th birthday picnic. Kids and family had a fantastic afternoon and food was delicious - the only downside was we couldn't finish it all😀
Spent 3 hours here today letting the kids play in the park having some healthy lunch in the sunshine well worth a visit .
The park is great safe and fun for 4 years + but plenty of space to play with a ball
So much to say about this cafe, its' so much more than just a cafe, amazing quality food, the best staff ever and not sure you can beat the surroundings, so so beautiful - must walk around lake after lunch! then cake!

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful scenery but what really makes this place so wonderful is the staff, really helpful and willing to rustle up cheesy pasta at a moments notice. Prices and food won't disappoint.
Gorgeous setting, lovely friendly service and delicious food. My absolute favourite in this area. My grandchild loves to play in the garden whilst I enjoy a coffee and the dogs get a walk round the lake and through the wood afterwards. What more could anyone want?

A lovely place to take your little ones after a swim. Either by the fire in the winter or outside in the gorgeous gardens in the summer. Lovely food and a warm welcome
A great welcome and fantastic coffee and flapjack. Beautiful location and very tastefully decorated. A real hidden gem and a welcome stop for a group of hungry cyclists. The play area looked great also, but we didn't have time for climbing...

We used to really like this place as the food was great and it's ideal for some food after a swim next door. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with children as lately we've been made to feel rather unwelcome, giving us the impression that they don't really want children there. A friend of mine also had a bad experience recently. On our last visit the table was left for us to clear, food and drink where just dumped on the table and my husband's food was undercooked. We'll be taking our money elsewhere in future.
