Unfortunately due to problems with untied utilities our water has gone off. We are hoping it will come back on soon and will keep you updated!

We used this venue for an Art Club. It is the perfect venue for having some creative relaxation. Amazingly friendly staff and the food and drinks are wonderful. It's a hidden gem

Today (with friends) I sat down to the best afternoon tea we'd ever had. Book it and try it - you will not be disappointed! Thank you, as we said at the time 'excellent'.

There is no better way to spend a morning than a stroll down the towpath with our little dog to a lovely welcome, a hot coffee & a toasted teacake with butter & jam. Thank you Waterside Cafe!

Such a treat whenever we come back from Texas to visit. The cakes are amazing but the scones are my favourite - nothing like them in the US. Julie and her staff always make us so welcome. Wish I could visit more often - hope to see you at Christmas Julie!

Lovely cafe! We love walking down the canal with the dog then popping in here for a cake or sandwich on the way back! Lovely service and today I tried their waffles which were the best waffles I ever had!

I have had afternoon tea at cafe waterside 4/5 times now and if you haven't tried it yet, you really need to make time to do so. Freshly made cakes, superb sandwiches, unlimited tea. Fantastic price for truly fantastic meal. Thank you Julie and team

I had a wonderful afternoon tea here on Saturday with my mum, sister and two granny's who I know all enjoyed themselves just as much as I did.



The food was gorgeous and so plentiful. We each took a tray of cakes home with us too. I've done a few afternoon teas and this was by far the best.



The staff were so friendly and attentive and I will certainly be recommending to friends and family. All for a great price too.

I absolutely love cafe waterside with the very relaxed casual atmosphere and great coffee food and service.

I am a very regular customer.

Great cafe. ..very welcoming even in difficult circumstances on Sunday without any electricity. Still had a hot drink and cake..we have been many times ..brilliant ��

Came to Cafe Waterside yesterday for afternoon tea to celebrate a friends birthday. As a coeliac needing a gluten free diet I was a bit concerned as had previously had a very bad experience with a supposedly gf afternoon tea at another establishment. I needn't have worried, having spoken to the owner in advance I was reassured and was provided with a delightful afternoon tea on platters just for me! I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything my friends had as I had such a variety of sandwiches, prawns and delightful cakes -I didn't even have to share!!

I'll definitely be back. Lovely, welcoming friendly staff, great food and service and to top it all-value for money.

love walking my dogs the 3.5 miles there and back for a cup of coffee, great venue, lovely atmosphere, keeps me and the dogs fit, with a lovely reward half way!

Staff and place were nice, however £4.95 for ONE round of beans on toast is a bit extortionate...we eat a lot of beans on toast on our travels and have never paid that much, Two rounds for about £3.50 is closer to the mark if you want to attract the growing cyclist market. Thought you may like the honest feedback
