Our experience was a good one. Loved it. Excellent service by friendly staff. The menu was very varied and food was tasty and well presented. Think maybe in the evening the lights could be dimmed a bit. But it didn't spoil our experience.

Had a great time well looked after by the new greek girl will be calling in again on thursday

Not the best afternoon tea I must say! The sandwiches were dry, and the fancy cakes on the top tear were soggy!! The best thing about it was the scones they were delicious � but very expensive for the poor quality of two of the tiers!! Quite disappointing!!

Lovely food and drink but the service was bizarre. The place wasn’t busy and we had to ask twice for my hot chocolate. The waitress was a bit clueless. But amazing hot chocolate when it did arrive.

Atmosphere was excellent, but the service wasn't that good. They were friendly but they brought the wrong meal, after I told them they make wait about 20 minutes to have what actually was ordered and once we started eating we found that the food wasn't completely cooked. The pasta ravioli was still hard.

A really lovely place with great food be it savory or sweet but really, don't serve Peroni in warm glasses! Apparently they did not have any cold ones or the ability to make one cold! Possibly someone needs to show the bartender how to use a cold tap!

The place itself is beautiful if not quite expensive for what you get. That's London prices I suppose., but the attitude of the young guy who thought he was so much better than the customers he was serving.was the biggest disappointment.he had no patience when taking orders from us and I witnessed him rolling his eyes, sneering at one customer and then apparently make fun/derogatory remarks about her to other staff members. I witnessed him argue with the more senior staff who tried to tell him off and remind him to do his job.

Service is very poor. Waited for 10 minutes for a drink while it was just sitting there on the counter. Had to ask the waiter to get the drinks for us while they just walked around the restaurant with their the arms behind their back ��

Rubbish chain for tourists who don't know any better you pay a fortune for very average scones and tea & the staff couldn't care less cos they get paid peanuts - find an independent place there are plenty.

I went there many times, even always nor good service, last sunday for example, I went with a friend, we order the same dish and the same glass of wine, and them they bring just for one of us, disgusting, during the time I had to wait for they bring my friends plate, my became cold, detail was around 8pm, and they not really busy.

Visited this restaurant last Saturday, had arranged to meet a friend that I hadn’t seen for many years so expected this to be a special prosecco afternoon tea..

Noticed on the menu that the price was £49.95

But the price advertised online was £39.95

advised us that the menu had been changed 2 days ago and we would have to pay the higher price. We insisted on paying the advertised price online,much to his annoyance!

Service was very very poor, very slow, we were actually ignored on a number of occasions, waited 25 mins for drinks to accompany food.

Asked for cake box to take home uneaten food and were supplied with boxes too small and and made to sort this out ourselves. On complaining to the waiter we were told it wasn’t his fault, he was overworked and the only one serving ( I had seen him earlier sit at the next table and complain about how awful it was to work there).......Dreadful service.....you should be ashamed of yourselves....Ruined our special Tea!

Terrible service. I waited for over 40 minutes for my club sandwich. When I enquired about my order I was assured it was on its way. 40 minutes later the waitress admitted the order hadn't been given to the chef. I cancelled my order as we were now running late but got charged 12.5% service charge for the bowl of soup and cup of tea that my friend had. Other diners were also complaining about the lack of service and others querying their bill. I won't be back.

Rude staff and really not a nice cafe. Teabags instead of loose leaf? Really not that special.

Myself and my aunt were here in this place 2 weeks ago and I will never forget the experience. We were sitting down having afternoon tea when this man approached me and put me in a head lock from behind and would not let go of me for quiet some time ! ! The staff didn't do anything about this!!! However, the man eventually let go and went out of the place ! My auntie was in shock after seeing this so I had ordered another pot of tea and we stayed there for a good while and not one staff member asked if we were okay !! Not only did they charge is full price for the afternoon tea that we didn't even finish they also charged us for THE SECOND POT OF TEA and 12.5% service charge ! As we paid and gathered our belongings the waiter took out payment with not even as much as a thank you ! And proceeded to count his tips in front of us !! Worst experience ever and very disappointed with the staff here ..

Horrible man with attitude that looks at you like he is superior... nasty man nasty attitude I take it he is head waiter.. in his late 40s tall... didn't get his name and I didn't give a tip. Sorry to all other staff for that I'm sure you all miss out on quite alot if you have to rely on him to serve

Dear management! You have got a lovely place, please don't try to save on labour and put more staff on! Speed of service is extremely slow beacuse it is a busy place and staff is under pressure! And on the other hand somebody put our bill down without us asking for it, drinks were wrong, tea got served without milk. We really wanted to try this plave but we are truly disappointed. Shame.
