About Caffeina Cafe
We are a community cafe managed by volunteers, looking to provide a welcoming environment to all. As well as being dog friendly.
Caffeina Cafe Description
Caffeina has come about from the vision of a group of like minded local people who have a passion for Pennington Hall Park. We are great believers in community spirit and working for the good and benefit of each other. Four years ago we approached the Friends of Pennington Hall Park to ask about opening a cafe within the building that was barely used, only to find out that building work had just begun for the tea rooms.
After the Tea Rooms closed and offers for a Community Asset Transfer were requested, it was something that we knew we had to apply for to ensure that the park continued with a great asset. We believe that communities should be brought together and local businesses should support and promote each other.
We look forward to Caffeina becoming a much valued hub of the community.

* Warning mushy post to follow! * 😂 I am beyond overwhelmed by the generosity of every single person who helped make this weekends Christmas Markets such a roaring success. Our regular volunteers truly stepped up and handled the busy stream of customers in the cafe. Elizabeth, Lisa, Kath, Kath, Sam and Dave on Saturday. A poorly Jane, Kath, Kath and Dave on Sunday alongside my fab sister Caron on both days and Alison. Additionally, special mentions to Andrea for helping wi...th anything and everything. My mum for travelling from Wales. Mark for the hours he put in and being the ultimate handy man, Dan for superb photos on Sunday and Santa for, well... being the one and only Santa. Loved by everyone who visited with his Chief Elf Mia and assistant Jack. ❤️ Not forgetting the council staff who prepped the park ready for the event. Grateful doesn't do justice to how I'm feeling 😘 Shelley xxx

Wow what a day. Huge respect to all stall holders and visitors who braved the weather today. We weren't beaten and Santa is looking forward to some sunshine tomorrow and many more visitors at the Christmas Markets in Pennington Hall Park. 11~4 ☀️🎅☀️
Anyone who is available to volunteer with stewarding and generally assisting the smooth running of the Christmas Markets this Sat 8th or Sun 9th at Pennington Hall Park please can you private message. Stall holders will be arriving from around 9am.

Fantastic to see our bike racks being used. Thanks to Brighter Borough Funding we can offer somewhere safe for cyclists to park their bikes while they take advantage of our 10% cyclists discount. 🚲
What an amazing place. Visited today for coffee and cake and it was lovely. Shelly made us feel very welcome. The cafe is spotlessly clean. We sat outside to enjoy the view of the park. Will definitely be returning.
What a lovely place to eat and have a drink, the food is lovely, staff are friendly and more than helpfull.. would defiantly recommend .....
Went for a stroll through the park today, called in for a cup of tea and scone, tea and scone were lovely everything was spotless and reasonably priced and we were served by two very polite young men ...will definatly be back ...thank you

Had an early morning walk this morning. The smell of bacon and eggs cooking on the outside grill wafting as we walked past we just had to Call in for a lovely cooked breakfast. The cafe is newly open three weeks ago and all refurbished to a lovely standard, very accommodating, good menu, lovely food. Will definately call for breakfast again �
First visit today. The cafe has been redecorated and looks really fresh and bright. The new people are very nice and welcoming, had a nice chat. Food was good and a good selection of cakes. And - GREAT COFFEE!! We look forward to many more visits. Wishing you every success ���
First day and they did not disappoint. Toastie, chips, cakes & latte all delicious. Rated 10/10 by my kids and that takes some doing!

Cheap as chips � amazing coffee and cakes! Stayed for hours watching my kids play in the sunshine, it’s so relaxing there . Owner and volunteers are lovely, very welcoming and chatty. We will definitely be back �
