Visited the show at Alexander Palace yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The cakes were stunning, loved every minute and I'll be back again next year for sure.

Thank you to all those involved in making the show happen, the atmosphere there was great too.

User

The original and best commercial Cake Decorating Show, must have been going for about 20 years and I wouldn't miss it.

User

The best

User

Now we talk... I don't know it came out I left a 3 star review... Nope! 5 stars is what the show deserves... And special congratulations to Melanie and all the staff for the great work done!

User

Ja, es war sehr gut! it was a really great day out for me and I really found it interesting seeing the exhibits and browsing the stalls. I enjoyed meeting some of the crafters in the hall next door too.

User

It is an amazing experience! Such a great unit to be involved in!

User

I just love C I and look forward to seeing everything ! I enjoy entering the competitions ! 3 days go too quickly, such a shame only once a year now .

User

I can't describe the buzz of entering a cake into the competition and winning something!

Just taking part is exciting enough but being acknowledged and awarded for your time and effort and skill is a huge confidence boost.

Myself and my daughter have entered three times now (she's beating me with awards so I need to up my game!) and we're already planning our next entries for November!

User

I am still mentally coming down from the high of the last incredible show. Cake International is the real home of the international cake community. The place where we can meet our most admired professionals and almost all the cake friends ever (maybe all one day). The Cake International Magazine is also the perfect reflection of it in a magazine, plenty of tips and tutorials from the biggest cake designers and a very high quality edition. Thanks for making this possible!

User

BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD! LOve everything about the show, the competitions, the judges feedback, live demos, shopping, eating, catching up with cake friends and meeting new ones...what's not to love! It's the highlight of my cake calendar every time!

User

So disappointed this year not many suppliers as for judging missed are school table completely the largest one there, hope things improve next year with only one show.

User

My first time here last Saturday and it was a brilliant experience however I was disappointed that some of the bigger companies who are normally there were not in attendance! The standard of competition cakes was purely mind blowing though!

User

Im not sure whether to attend this year's show after the last one.Ive being going for years but the last show was by far the worst that I've ever been to with half of the main suppliers not being there....having looked at the list of Exhibitors all ready listed there are still a lot missing....Purple Cupcakes,Windsor Crafts,Vanilla Valley,Paul Bradford,Culpitt,Sugar Shack,Patchwork Cutters,Sarracino.....

User

I've been attending for years and always loved it. But this year was left feeling dissapointed. The new lay out was awful. The cafes being shut and food outlets at the side of the hall - a dreadful idea! Teaching areas were in awkward areas that just didn't seem to flow. Not enough tables and chairs for the numbers attending. I saw mother's feeding babies sat on the floor! High profile suppliers simply not even in attendance any more apparently because the stamd fees are stupidly high now. Over crowded caused by there not being enough space around the stalls.

I hope you go back to basics next year and make it a great show again .

User

I'm really hoping this year's show will be better. 2017 felt much smaller and cramped. Not enough places to sit and take a break. Cafe prices are extortionate!

Also there should be a ban on people taking in suitcases and the plastic crates on wheels. They are a trip hazard and not very nice when you get hit in the ankles by one!!

User

Hope this is going to be back to one show a year , as I find it unfair on the stall holders , how are they to make any money from this , as well where , where the chairs and tables for people this year not nice to see people sitting on the floor when they have payed a lot to come and to get in , I would say CI greedy is not nice x

User

I’ve been attending this show for some 10+ years and am amazed at how much smaller it is getting year after year. Every year there is not enough seating/eating areas. This year there was a whole load of wasted space at each end of the exhibition - why weren’t seating/tables provided instead of allowing people to sit on dirty floors like animals. Also as this is predominantly a female event why do you not provide more female toilets.
