Cakeland will also be teaming up with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF UK to fund raise money for diabetes research. We will be hosting a "Guess the name of the teddy bear" and all proceeds will be given to the foundation.

Once again this year Cakeland will be doing a "Decorate Your Own Biscuit" stall at this years Country Fest. Taking place on the Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June you can find us in the food tent! Prices of biscuits to follow. Westmorland County Agricultural Society

Going back to the very basics. Fairy Cakes: The very first things you learn to bake as a child but always a winner at Tea parties and Children's birthdays. Basic cakes are just as good as the rest.
A basic sponge with a hint of Orange Essence, an orange butter cream and some strawberry jam. Dusted finally with some icing sugar.
