It's a very nice holiday park but there aren't a great amount of activities there. The onsite park is not very big and limited facilities. No swings and a tiny slide, so no good for smaller children. You have to pay to get inside the arcade area and restaurant which is poor as you have to pay to get in and then pay more to enjoy the facilities.
The only benefit was that the caravans are very nice inside and fairly quiet, but we could not spend the day just staying there.
Need more to do around the site apart from the arcades.Swimming pool hours are not great and we couldn't swim when it suited us really.
Caravans are fantastic lovely clean site and staff are really good.

Lovely place to stay. Stayed with the family for a weekend. The mobile home we stayed in was lovely , really modern. The staff were great , helped us out with anything we needed and sorted any problems we had. The facilities are great , pool was lovely and the evening entertainment was great. The kids had a ball.
Caravans up to a good standard. Only issues are that a caravan that is ment to sleep 8 people is simply not big enough. There isn't enough seating for everybody to sit comfortably and the single beds are far to small for an adult. Being 6 foot tall myself my feet overhung the legs and the beds are simply not wide enough, far from the size of a regular single bed.
Other than that the entertainment was good for all ages, the food was great and the location was easy to find and not that far from Blackpool.
The park and majority of the staff are fine. Had issues on booking in, in which we was put in a different caravan. Caravans stink of cigarettes smoke, and if you and your family are none smokers this is a big let down. You also need to do a good clean of the inside of the caravans as we had to on the two different ones we had at this park. I am not posh or some clean freak but the cutlery - plates- cups and bowls were all marked with some sort of brown substance. The cupboards and draws were very greasy. I spent a good hour or so cleaning down the place whilst my family were in the local food hall having dinner.
Totally different experience to the one we had at Haven at Great Yarmouth a few years ago.
Great wee caravan park, quite smaller than other haven's but got enough to keep you going and the entertainment area is definitely big enough to get a decent seat every night. Friendly staff highly recommend.
What a lovely place, the staff were lovely and so helpful. The kids had a fantastic time. They loved the pool, and the slide. The pool was deep enough so they could still stand up in the shallow end. The splash zone was also a massive hit! There was plenty of activities and things going on to keep them busy and the funstars we're fantastic, they took the time to remember the children's names and made it more personal. The children also made new friends and we have booked to go back next year at the same time as their friends! Only downside was the on site shop was so expensive so I recommend going out to local shops otherwise fantastic. See you all in 2018!
Ok for a.cheap holiday with a lot of facilities on site and a bus journey to blackpool but is located near a tip
Brilliant weekend . Had prestige caravan which was lovely. Very spacious and clean. Facilities on site all good. Staff friendly and helpful. My grandchildren had great fun in the indoor pool. Would definitely recommend and hopefully go back next year.
The caravan site its self has a wide variety of things to keep the kids entertained all through the day and the night (if you can afford it) The prices are a bit steep, as you have to pay for passes for your holiday, these allow you to access the swimming pool and entertainment complex, they also allow the adults to play bingo at the night times.
Mon - Friday break away. ..fab time. Prestige caravan was gorgeous. ..highly recommended. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Very clean site. Definitely going back 😊😊😊. Thanks ALL staff at Cala Gran ☺☺
