My name is Heather Smith and I make textile art for nurseries and children's bedrooms, inspired by nursery rhymes, fairy tales and mythology.

Each of my textile pieces are a labour of love! I spend quite a long time designing a new piece, redrawing it to get it just right before drawing it on to fabric. I then hand paint it, and once dry carefully hand stitch every outline to create a lovely 3D quilted effect. They are technically whole cloth mini quilts but textile art is easier to say! Once finished I tidy the piece up, mount it and frame it. Sometimes I never quite know what the finished piece will look like until the end! This process can take days or even weeks for larger pieces, but I enjoy every part of it.

Different sizes and formats coming soon! Please send me a message if you would like a different size or shape piece, I make them to fit the frame so am not restricted to certain sizes or shapes.

I own the copyright to all my work, and reserve the right to remake designs and use the images. Although each piece is different, if you wanted a completely unique design unable to be ordered by anyone else the cost would be greater as I would not be able to use it again.
I am registered self employed as a sole trader.


Turnaround time

Turnaround time is currently approximately 4 weeks, as each piece is made to order. However if you are in a rush I may be able to do it sooner, so please send me a message.


Delivery

All items are very well packaged and sent through Royal Mail 2nd class recorded post. If you would prefer 1st class postage please let me know.


Refunds

If there are any problems you may have with your item once received, let me know as soon as possible (within 14 days) and I’ll be happy to do what I can to resolve the problem quickly. In the event that a problem cannot be resolved I will issue a refund within 28 days, on receipt of returned items. If a return is due to faulty items that cannot be sorted out then I will refund your postage costs. If a return is due to a change of mind you are responsible for the cost of the return and the item must be returned in the condition it arrived in. Please package a return securely as I cannot take responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsiblities are those of the customer. All refunds of undamaged items that have been correctly returned, will be credited to the customer via the original method of purchase.
If you change your mind about your order you must contact me within 14 days.
If your item is personalised please insure you provide me with the correct spelling. Items cannot be refunded due to any spelling errors that are not my fault.


Online Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order placed online please let me know as soon as possible. Please note that orders can only be cancelled if they have not already been dispatched. If your order has been dispatched, then I am unable to redirect it, so request that you follow the above return instructions upon receipt within 14 days.

These items are decorative and are not toys, they contain glass so should be kept out of the reach of children.


All items are crafted in a non smoking home.
Proof of posting is collected upon posting, a photo of this will be available for you, if requested.
