About Calmer Canine Behaviour Services
My name is Jane Wade and I am a Canine Behaviour Practitioner, having graduated from the British College of Canine Studies.
Calmer Canine Behaviour Services Description
I am Jane Wade and I have been successfully running Calmer Canine Behaviour Services for a number of years now and am privileged to have work with many dogs and their owners in that time.
I offer 1: 1 behaviour consultations, 1: 1 & group training, dog walking and pet sitting.
I spent time in Romania working closely with a rescue there and learnt so much about the needs of dogs from abroad. All dogs are 'work in progress' and nothing is more rewarding then empowering an owner to help their dog. I truly believe that all dogs can learn to live harmoniously with their family using kind yet effective methods.
I hold QTS, am a Canine Behaviour Practitioner, Pro Dog Trainer, and have attended /completed many courses and conferences which I really enjoy.
I have five dogs of my own, all rescues, two from Romania and the others from local rescues, they really do teach me so much and certainly keep me on my toes! !

Scamp taking boundary games on the road! Someone came to sit and chat with me, two dogs passed quite close and he managed to stay on his bed beautifully! Not sure heβs a fan of the band belting out the Red Hot Chilli Peppers though so we left quite soon after they started (shame as they were a good band!). Way to go little man!! πβ€οΈ
Love this article about leadership! β€
Some good games coming up.
When out with three of my dogs this morning a very sweet little pug on a retractable lead managed to get more then half way across the road to come and see them before the owner noticed and 'reeled' her in again (of course lead was attached to a collar so this must have caused her some discomfort to say the least). Retractable leads are not safe on many levels. They are actually banned in certain states in America. ππΆ

This was lovely Shelley on the BBC this evening. This was a dog that didnβt like people, couldnβt be off the lead and now sheβs doing her thing on the telly!! Way to go Shelley πβ€οΈπ
Just to give you the heads up one of the dogs Iβm currently working with, lovely Shelley from Floriβs Friends Rescue, is being featured at 6:30 on the BBC South East News. Hopefully this will help to find her the loving home she so deserves. She did us all proud coping with the filming & well done to Sam & Natalia. π ππΎ π
