Have your say on the Calne Recreation Ground!
Recently, Calne Town Council has been looking at the Recreation Ground and how it is currently used. Historically, the Recreation Ground was built to provide a public pleasure ground and last year we received comments from a variety of members of the community wishing to have a more family orientated open space to enjoy.
With this in mind, the Council has decided to ask... the local community for their thoughts and views of what they would like to see and do at the Recreation Ground. We would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes completing the following survey on what provisions and activities you would like to see developed and implemented.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views on how you wish to shape Calne into an excellent place to Live, Work and Visit!
Please visit bit.ly/calnerec to answer our short questionnaire, with your views.
If you have any questions, or require more information, please contact us at calne@calne.gov.uk or phone 01249 814000.

And we're back on track! A big thank you to all of those who have come forward to help at the 2019 Carnival & who have also popped their name down for the Christmas festival of lights too! It means this event can be much safer for all involved. We are only just at the tip of safety however, so if you're able to help, or know someone who is, then please do get in touch! eweaver@calne.gov.uk. We look forward to hosting another Summer Carnival for Calne!

With a great response to helping on the June 29th Carnival- including our already on board marshals & now newly recruited, we have 30 helping hands! Yay. So, here is a little sneak peak of further entertainment on the day! Representing Jamaica, for the Around the world in A day theme- is a hip wiggling, foot tapping Caribbean steel band! Check them out here! We are still appealing for more help, so do get in touch if you can spare any time. Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqaz6JACS 28
