Dear Artists!!
With the unexpected electricity problems of the past few of weeks at the pub....our plans for a new Exhibition got a little forgotten! 😬 ... SO SORRY!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
BUT.... we're back on track now 😄
So...as announced during last week class, if you'd like to take part to our little permanent exhibition at The Cambria, please do bring your FRAMED masterpieces TOMORROW! 🖼️
If you're not ready for tomorrow, next Wednesday will be still OK! 😃
Rules to take part:
* Drawings MUST have been done at our class * Drawings MUST be framed * X1 piece if of A2 size 🖼️ * X2 pieces if of A3 size 🖼️🖼️ * X3 pieces if small than A3 🖼️🖼️🖼️
We can always add more drawings if we've got space 🥰🙏🏻
And in a couple of weeks, when we'll have collected and mounted all the Artworks, we can have a little gathering to celebrate! 🥳🥳

🌟TUTORED WORKSHOP!🌟
Have you always wanted to attend a Life Drawing class but you were too shy as you didn't know where to start?
... Then this workshop it’s for you!
Camberwell Life Drawing is happy to present an afternoon TUTORED CLASS where you will be given an introduction on how to approach drawing the Figure from a model, with fun and effective exercises accessible to anyone with very little experience, if none at all!
Life Drawing teaches you hand-eye coordination, hones your observational skills and does wonders for relaxation...and who doesn't need a bit more relax these days!
You will leave this workshop with a bit more knowledge and confidence on how to look at the Figure, plan your composition and quickly sketch the entire Figure, as well as add shadows and highlights and draw the whole pose.
🌟 WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU?
All materials will be provided!
BUT In case you would like to have your own, the basic life drawing starter kit would include some decent pencils or sticks of willow charcoal, a rubber, some paper – preferably at least A3, and a sharpener. You needn’t worry too much about the quality of the paper you use in your first sessions
🌟 ABOUT THE TUTOR
Tatiana has a degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Art of Milan and trained in Animation at Central St Martins and at the New York Film Academy. She has been running Camberwell Life Drawing for 5 years and also taught Life Drawing privately.
Her classes are fun, creative and relaxed, and she loves sharing her passion for drawing with a huge range of students, from complete beginners to nervous returners.

There is no electricity... The pub is closed... I had to put handwritten signs all over the windows to say we are upstairs.... People had to come in from the back door... We're working only with natural light which is fading quickly....... And no heating for our brave model....
