Remember, remember the fifth of November.....
It's Bonfire night! ¤öź¤Äć
For one of the most spectacular firework displays around, we recommend that you head to Midsummer Common this evening. This annual Bonfire Night celebration is one of Cambridge's most famous and long-running traditions.

Our days might be getting shorter and the weather might be getting colder, but it's still a great time to explore Cambridge. The city is quieter at this time of year, and it's the perfect opportunity to soak up the sights without all the crowds.

Not a pumpkin in sight, but perhaps a spirit or two wandering our streets. ¤æ╗
Happy Halloween!

Sundays are made for pub lunches and riverside walks. Wouldn't you agree?

Cambridge is a busy, bustling and exciting city.
And yet it's easy to find little pockets of calm. Places to pause and sit still for a moment.
Another reason that we love this city so much! ¤ÆÖ

We have some of the most beautiful colleges in the world right here in Cambridge. No matter what the season, they're worth visiting.
The Boston Ivy is changing from green to red right now, autumn has definitely arrived! ŌØż’ĖÅ

Did you know that Oliver CromwellŌĆÖs head is buried in Cambridge in a secret location?
After being buried, exhumed, displayed, and passed through the hands of several private collectors, it was eventually buried at a secret location in Cambridge in 1960.
Now we're wondering where....

The Cambridge University library has over 8 million books and it receives a free copy of every book published in the UK. ¤ōÜ
And now we're daydreaming about floating lazily along the river on a punt, with our favourite book in hand.
Which book would you choose?

Good morning! ¤ī×
What are you up to today? No matter the weather, Cambridge has a lot to offer all year long! How about exploring one of the many museums in Cambridge or a guided tour of the newly built Cambridge Mosque. It's a breathtaking piece of art, that tells a very interesting story!

User

Cambridge has a lot more to offer than what you can see from the outside... Yes, King's College, Trinity College or St John's College are all absolutely breathtaking, but there's a lot more to explore!
The University of Cambridge has 31 colleges that were founded between the 13th and 20th centuries and each and everyone one of them offers something different and worth exploring!

We're loving autumn colours in Cambridge! ¤Źé¤Źā

What are your plans for tomorrow?
If you like being out an about and you enjoy good food and nice entertainment, then head to the Milton County Park for their annual Autumn Festival.
It's Milton Country Park's biggest fundraiser and their aim is to celebrate the finest local, independent creatives, groups and community projects with an emphasis on traditional family fun. But no matter your age, the Autumn Festival has plenty for everyone!
... This year you can enjoy some of the best upcoming bands on the music stage plus the popular headline act Big Ten will be returning!
They'll also have delicious street food, fine local produce, real ales and cider, a miniature steam train, woodland craft workshops, circus skills, hay play, canoe & paddleboard safari, vintage tea tent, an apple pressing in the orchard and more!!
Wow, that sounds like a brilliant event! Will we see you there?
Head over to https://www.miltoncountrypark.org/ŌĆ”/20Ō Ć”/9/24/autumn-festival to find out more!

Cambridge has a lot more to offer than the obvious touristy attractions.
Don't take us wrong, we love all the Cambridge University colleges, Cambridge Market, narrow and picturesque streets in the city centre and the River Cam! ŌØż’ĖÅ
One of such examples is Stourbridge Common. ¤ī▒¤ī┐¤ī▓¤īŠ¤ī╝
... According to information from Cambridge City about Local Nature Reserves:
'This extensive riverside floodplain forms an important part of an East Cambridge wildlife corridor, linking a range of habitats from the Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits to the River Cam which flows out into the Fens.
The grassland is managed by grazing cattle throughout the summer months and their dung is home to invertebrates, which in turn become prey to bats such as the Noctule.'
And what's your favourite place in Cambridge? Is it one of the colleges or is it less common and more unusual place? Let us know!
