Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies (CCSS) is an independent sixth-form college, specialising in A-Level and GCSE courses, and preparing students for entry into the best universities in the UK and abroad.

CCSS is a unique and special place to learn. At a time when the best universities are looking for more than top grades, we firmly believe that the pathway to university lies not just in excellent teaching, but in close pastoral care, a broad education and personal guidance from dedicated and highly skilled teachers.

It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Aisha Bayero. Aisha attended CCSS, along with her brother Ibrahim, from 1989 to 1991. Ibrahim says of his sister “She was a ray of sunshine and always lit up the room when she was in. She had a personality that saw no difference in gender, race, religion, class or differences in persons. Rather, she treated all equals and as such was always such a memorable character to all that had the honour of meeting her.”

A warm congratulations to Pablo Bruhn Rodriguez and Jennifer Boyd who got engaged two days ago in Paris! Pablo and Jennifer met at CCSS in 2007 and moved to Nigeria early this year. Congratulations on taking this exciting step together. You make a wonderful couple. We are so delighted for you. Best wishes from everyone at CCSS :-)
