Cambridge Cherry Hinton Caravan And Motorhome Club Site

Very friendly helpful staff, the toilets were extremely clean and well equipt.
The site is nice and close to the nature reserve which is very handy for walking the dogs and the bus routes into Cambridge are a short walk away.
We would defiantly recommend this lovely camp site.

This is a small site in a disused chalk quarry. Quite handy for Cambridge and surrounding area. The wardens were helpful and friendly, explaining as they were full we didn't have a choice of pitch so we were put at the top of the site, furthest away from the dog walk and as we have an elderly dog it wasn't the best idea! Our pitch (28) is very dark and didn't get the sun at all, but you get good DTV reception! The facilities are the usual CC set up, with radio in the shower block, which was kept clean and tidy. Our route from the north, following Sat Nav, was interesting by seemingly to cross the city and test your skills and patience! We were impressed that the one o'clock arrival time was enforced by the wardens, but obviously the sooner you arrive the better choice of pitch. It was mentioned there is a turn over of 15 to 20 units daily..

This is typical of caravan club site. Very well presented. Staff very good. Close to better than every ten minutes bus service into Cambridge. Good local shops and pub within 10 min walk. Great base for visiting Cambridge.

Very crowded campsite. A lot of it is fenced of for private owners. Doesn't feel like a campsite. No water taps for each caravan. Told were to park. Stewards stalk you. Expensive. Need I go on. Give it a miss folks cos its a 10 min walk to shower blocks and that's a bit much.

A really nice clean site and the staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Shower blocks are spotless and the showers are amazing really good water pressure and you don't have to keep pushing a button. Would highly recommend this site.

Wardens were great, the toilets and showers were very clean, the site is very small with no long walks for dogs without driving but great if you want to go into Cambridge and Wandlebury Country Park down the road is well worth a visit.

Really lovely site and very popular. We have just been there and it was nearly full in February. The facilities were excellent and very easy to get a bus into Cambridge.
