Cambridge City Supporters Trust

Cambridge City Supporters Trust has played a central role in the life of Cambridge City FC since 2006. The Trust was formed from the Cambridge City Action Group, a collection of fans angered at plans to disband the club and the sale of Milton Road. The Trust is now the second largest shareholder in the club and continues to invest at regular intervals. The shares in the club are held by the Trust on behalf of its members and, by extension, all Cambridge City supporters. We believe that a large, sustainable shareholding by the Trust helps ensure a stable and well-run football club. The Trust has a representative on the club board that is elected by the Trust membership every three years; this post helps aid communication between the club and fans. In addition, there is an elected Trust Board. In addition to being a voice for the fans at club board level, the Trust organises the majority of match-day volunteers, fundraising events, conducts community engagement and works with local charities. The Trust is the voice of the ordinary fan and a champion for the local community. We are only as strong as our membership and our volunteer base – and we are keen to expand both!
