Went to see marti pellow last night, amazing show, marti s as good as ever, if not better, shame there weren't more people there, but the atmosphere was fab

Great job Marti.

User

Went to see All Or Nothing last night... we had the place rocking at the end!. No time to sit... yes not the best seats in the world but then again the building is old and a bit cramped... Staff were great as was the show...

User

Went to see 'All or nothing ' yesterday afternoon.was brilliant.Have been going to the corn exchange for many years now and have always enjoyed the shows.Ok the seating could be better .But we are not paying London prices. The most annoying thing I find is people who continually drink and then keep up and down going to the toilet throughout the performances. Very annoying keep having people wandering around!

User

We took our son (3.5 yrs) to yesterday's showing of Stick Man and we had a great time. The performance was entertaining and interactive and our little man really enjoyed it. Sure the seating is a little uncomfortable and dated, but then again if you want a local venue in the City centre walking distance from every eatery / shops you can not go wrong.

User

Took my 5 year old to watch stick man yesterday and we absolutely loved it! Not the first time I have been to the corn exchange as my partner and I went to see Russel Brand and we were very happy! Seating isn't great, especially for little ones as they fall through the back but great value for money! Look forward to the next trip there!

User

Thank you to the security staff who saw me coming in on crutches and offered to find me a seat as we had standing tickets. I almost didn't go and was not looking forward to standing all night! Your assistance was much appreciated. As for the venue, it's a beautiful building and a great place for gigs.

User

Saw Regina Spector yesterday night. Have been a fan of hers since I was 15 so being able to see her live at a venue only 45 minutes from me was a dream come true. I only wish I could have watched her longer. Great place to go! Good prices, parking round the corner plus so many places to go to before and afterwards. What more could you want?

User

First time at this venue (and a wheelchair user) the staff were fantastic , there was a fire alarm issue and yet again the staff were great and very reassuring.

Also I did love the venue itself x

User

Went to watch Peppa Pig with my 3 year old today, great show, lovely staff. The only issue we had was with the kids cushion that wasn't in very good condition. I know there aren't many performances for kids but would be nice to have nice and comfortable seat cushions for little ones :-)

User

We went to see Reginald D.Hunter on Sunday. Atmosphere was good, staff very helpful but seating and sound may need improving. I expected a bit better venue as it's Cambridge not some small town that people don't know of. In general we had good time but I had problems with hear what he was saying and my bf had to repeating it for me.

User

Regina Spektor was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, very respectful audience.

I was seated on the balcony, chairs uncomfortable and felt crowded. At times the spot lighting from the stage pointed directly in my face and at the end the onstage back lighting was blindingly bright.

The building itself is beautiful. Just a shame about the above mentioned points.

User

Really great venue but as other posters have said - your chairs are so rediculously uncomfortable. Antiquated in fact. I will be back to the venue as it's convenient, it's well located, it's got a lovely atmosphere, parking is easy - I just hope they invest in new seating!

User

Last night of all or nothing was fantastic

But the seating is terrible we expected something better very uncomfortable it looked like we were in a church hall

I used to go roller skating as a child but haven't been to a gig before as I now live in Northampton now we were expecting something like our Derngate theatre

Very disappointed

User

Just not a great venue for all the reasons given by others. New seats please and I will never go to see anything if I have to sit upstairs. I can't see over the heads of people in front. I'm not 6 feet tall and if I was the people behind need to be 7 feet. Very badly teared.

User

Expensive drinks ... we were balcony 15 n 16 and the guy supposedly helping was very rude and disinterested

People like that shouldn't be working with the public

User

We went to see Russell brand and were near the front but the seats were not only tiny and incredibly uncomfortable but there was no room to even cross your legs or sit side by side. My partner and I had to essentially link arms so that we didn't invade other people's space. No air con and it was generally just incredibly uncomfortable. It ruined what was a great show due to being desperate for the interval to be able to move about. Towards the end of the show I couldn't wait to get out of there as i was actually in pain. Really unimpressed with this.. they need larger seats with more space. On the plus side, the bar was a speedy service and leaving the venue was very easy as there were lots of exits. I wouldn't come back again unfortunately.

User

Russell Brand was amazing ! Brilliant show but it was so hot where we were seated on the balcony I thought I would pass out and my partner had to leave to get air as he felt unwell. No air circulation at all, really ridiculous as it was such a hot day . Won't be going back in summer months, also seats incredibly uncomfortable

User

Would be fine watching Collabro tonight if it wasn't for paddling in sticky drink under my feet that the person behind me dropped- have asked a staff member nicely if they could please clean it up to be told ' there's nothing I can really do' Great customer service- not.

User

Went to the Marillion gig. Checked with a senior steward that it would be OK to take a few snaps for my blog . He replied not a problem a long as you don't record the band. However as soon as I attempted to take a picture an over officious steward shone a torch at me and was extremely rude. Tried to argue my case to no avail. He spent the rest of the night watching me like a hawk and glaring . Completely ruined my night . Thank you so much Cambridge .
