Cambridge Doughnut

Cambridge Doughnut is applying the model to Cambridge in partnership with communities, organisations and local authorities to define the key indicators and affect change. Doughnut Economics is a visual framework for sustainable development – shaped like a doughnut or lifebelt – combining the concept of planetary boundaries with the complementary concept of social boundaries. It was coined by Kate Raworth in a book in 2017. It re-frames economic problems and sets new goals.
